My mum is Indian but spent most of her teen years in the UK and dad is Norwegian so they wanted our names to reflect our heritage hence Ishita which means a couple different things in Hindi, then my middle name Astra which means beautiful goddess or devine strength. So growing up dad would call me star because of how similar it is to Astra." Ishita explained as she filled up a jug with water and began placing ice cubes and slices of lemons "What is your favourite childhood memory?" "That's difficult because there are so many to choose from but I would have to say when I went to Thailand and there was the light festival where you send lanterns into the sky which was magical and something out of disney. I remember being in complete awe and wonder and it's also one of the first memories that I can remember so it holds a special place in my heart." "I don't think I have one simply because the holidays are vastly different and each celebrate different occasions so they are celebrated in different ways. For example Holi is amazing to celebrate in India because of the colours and how vibrant it is. Christmas on the other hand is just family and celebrating how close you are and the presents.
