She left the conference room next to Tommy "I can't believe I'm doing this" she whined. Tommy was really happy that his best friend was gonna live with him, he was becoming friends of the twins and he was becoming part of the Avengers family, but it was nice to have her there.
"We are going to do so much things" he said exited while she furrowed her eyebrows "We could do movie night the Saturdays so we can rest the Sundays" he started to make lot of plans but she zoned out when she saw Vision, again she couldn't help but look at the stone in his head. Tommy noticed this and snapped his fingers in her face "Are you even listening?" he says with a tone of disbelief.
"Sure, sorry, I don't know what happened" she says truthfully, she had no idea why she got distracted.
She went home that afternoon and packed her clothes and a couple of things that were necessary. Tony told her that any decoration she wanted she could just buy it, so she just took some books and some of her discs. She also took her sketch books and the pills she needed for her headaches. She had one last dinner with the Barton's and Nat before they took off. They had dinner early so when they came back to the HQ she could be able to put her sheets and get a little comfortable in her new room.
The walls were white except for the one that was in front of the door which was sage green, her favourite color next to black. The bed was placed in the middle with bedside tables at each side, at the right there was a window at the end, shelves in the middle of the wall and then a sliding door that opened to a dresser. In the left side there was a white desk and it's left the bathroom.
She placed some stuff where it belonged and went to the kitchen to get some water. When she entered the kitchen she saw some Avengers still having dinner, Nat was there sitting next to Steve, but she wasn't eating cause she had dinner at the Barton's.
"Hi" Anastasia says waving her left hand. They all say 'hi' back and she goes to look for water.
"Do you need something sweetie?" Nat asks, going beside her. "Yeah I was looking for the water" Nat shows her everything in the kitchen. "Tomorrow I should give you a tour around here, after breakfast" Nat told her. "Sounds good" Ana said smiling softly at her.
She felt uncomfortable, she barely knew them and now she had to live with them. At college was easier, usually the people she shared a dorm with never was there, they were always out doing something. And when they were there she probably wasn't, she didn't have to be around those people long enough. She wasn't either friends or not with them.
"We were thinking on playing a board game, wanna join?" Sam asked. He's cool, always smiling and telling jokes. "Sure" she said.
They moved to the living room, she sat at the floor next to Tommy who sat on the couch, at Tommy's left were Pietro and then Wanda. In the other couch next to Wanda, were Vision, Rhodes and Sam. In the couch in front of the teenagers were sat Steve and Nat. They would make a cute couple, Ana thought.
They played at Monopoly in pairs. Ana and Tommy, the twins, Rhodes and Sam, Steve and Nat, and Vision didn't play because he wasn't interested.
"I don't like jail" Ana whined while putting her arms around her chest. "Why do you care? We're winning" Tommy said in disbelief. "That doesn't mean that I'm okay being in jail" Ana said rolling her eyes. Nat laugh at the two, they were always like this, it was good to see that they were growing up but not changing a bit.
"I still don't get it" Steve told Nat, she sighed before taking the money out of his hands "Let me do it, you're a loser" it caused everyone to laugh, even Steve. He knew he was a loser, he couldn't understand the game, too difficult for someone who is more than 100 years old I guess.
After Ana and Tommy won, everyone started to talk about stuff, trying to get to know each other.
"I'm trying to play the guitar" Wanda said. "She sounds bad" Pietro commented, Tommy hit him in the back of his head whit a look of disapproval. "Don't listen to him. He's just jealous cause the only thing he's able to do is watch TV and he doesn't even understands it" Nat tells Wanda, causing everyone to laugh except for Pietro, who just leaned back on the couch looking at the ceiling and cursing under his breath.
"You know, I once tried to learn how to play the guitar" Sam said catching everyone's attention "It was to impressed a girl" the boys laughed and the girls just chuckled "It didn't end well tho" he looked down like a sad puppy and then looked back up "Then I told her that I'm friends with Capitan America and everything went well" he said with a big smile, causing everyone to laugh.
"I know how to play the guitar" Ana said "If you need help just ask me" this caused a smile on Nat's face, seeing that the girl was really trying. Wanda smiled at her and said "Thanks". Ana just nodded in response. She is not the type of person to try and make friends, but she knew that she had al least try to be nice to the people she now lives with.
"How does it feel to be an Avenger, kids?" Rhodes asked the three young superheroes.
"It is ok" Pietro said, not giving it much importance. "Scary" Wanda stated, seeing that everyone looked at their confused she felt the need to explain herself "One day I was at Sokovia, then I was what you call a lab rat, then I was paired with Ultron, then I wasn't, then I saw Sokovia blow up, and then I was here. So yeah, scaring" Ana was shocked, her dad told her a little bit about the twins but what Wanda said just, shocked her.
"I'm pretty exited" Tommy said with a big smile, causing Ana to chuckle. He looks at her and hit her in the back of her head and she lefts out a small 'ouch'. "It was my dream, since Fury told us about the Avengers Initiative" he continuos, pointing at him and Ana.
"Yeah. I've been meaning to ask you about that" Sam commented. "How did you met Fury?" He says looking at Tommy.
"Well, my parents are SHIELD agents, so when I got kidnapped by HYDRA and was brought back to SHIELD I got the chance to meet him" when he mentioned the kidnapping Ana couldn't help but flinch a little bit, Nat noticed this and she looked at her to ask if she was ok, but she never met her gaze, she was looking at the floor trying not to think much about it. But if you asked anyone in the room, you could see she was uncomfortable.
"And what happened next?" This time Rhodes asked.
Tommy looked at Ana to see if she was ok with him telling this since it wasn't just his history, but she never looked up so he just erased her from it, knowing she will wait till she trusts them to talk about it.
"I... I was given the option to start with my training, it wasn't much since I was just 10 when I came back. My parents wanted me to have the best childhood I could, I was two years at HYDRA, I didn't had much time to train with them, I knew how to fight but I hadn't much experience, just a couple of missions. So, I started with light training but every year it was less light. When I was 16 they made me a SHIELD agent" They were all silent, shocked, he looked down as memories started to come back to his head. Ana noticed this and placed her hand on his, to show him support.
"What about you?" Sam asked Ana. She looked at Nat who looked at Sam shaking her head. He got the hint and nobody asked her any more questions.
