Is This Love?

Pt.4 Peace treaty? or new allies?

-Few days After the riders return from their trip, Hiccup and the riders decided to attack any ports of Viggo's they could. After a few attacks you received a terror mail from Viggo wanting to talk to Hiccup-

"Hiccup it could be a trap" Astrid said with no hesitation jumping on Stormfly "Exactly so you Heather and y/n will come with me" He jumped on Toothless waiting for you and Heather to get on your dragons. You all departed the edge and headed to the island Viggo wanted to meet at as you neared the island it was really open no where for hunters to hide, Hiccup signaled Heather and Astrid to watch the ship while you stayed back. As you and Hiccup tried to land near Viggo he was in the middle of a blue oleander flower field so you both landed you dragons away. Hiccup walked over to Viggo as you stayed behind incase Viggo tried something.

You watched as Hiccup and Viggo talked but you were unable to hear them when Hiccup looked at a parchment of paper on the board infant of him and Viggo. Viggo look up at you with a smirk, you huffed and turned away from him trying not to get lost in his brown eyes. When you turned your head back around Hiccup was walking toward you with a parchment of paper in his head he turned to look at Viggo who had a determined look on his face. You and Hiccup got on your dragons flew into the air and signaled it was time to go. "What is that Hiccup?" Astrid suspiciously said pointing to the paper in Hiccup's hand, Hiccup sighed before he spoke "Its a boarder where Viggo would get one half of the archipelago and we would get the other half saving the dragons on our side" He looked up to see Heather and Astrid not looking happy about the idea "You can't be considering to believe that!" You pipped in breaking the silence as they looked at you "Well-" Hiccup was speechless because he was considering it "Maybe he is hiding something on the other side, we will talk about it more at the edge" before you could respond he sped forward on his dragon toward the edge.

When you all got to the edge Hiccup explained a plan "He has to be hiding something on his side" Hiccup walked across the room as everyone watched "Then how will we find out what he is hiding" Astrid said standing up "We check the closest Island to the line" Hiccup pointed to the map and everyone saddled their dragons. As you all approached the island, you landed near the beach and slowly approached a village you saw from the sky. As you drew closer each member of the riders disappeared, you were caught in a trap and dragged to the side then you passed out. When you woke up your hands and feet were tied, while sitting next to the rest of the riders. You were all surrounded by people in black suites, as you looked around a man came forward to Hiccup and the rest of you. You all scooted around each other and sat next to each other in a straight line. The man spoke "I am Throk, all hail queen mala" he grabbed Hiccup's head and made him bow then released and bowed with the other people as a women approached you and the riders. "So these are the dragon hunters you caught throk?" She walked up with her hands behind her back looking at all of the riders. You scoffed as Hiccup stood up "We are not dragon hunters" her eyes narrowed on hiccup "Do you take me for a fool? You were sent here by Viggo Grimborn to take our great protector" she glanced at the gaint statue of a dragon. "You couldn't be more wrong" he said "We honor dragons" she turned back to Hiccup "yet you shackle them and make them do your bidding" Hiccup's eyes widened before he spoke "Those are just saddles, we ride dragons" everyone looked at the dragon who were eating some kind of fruit. "Not anymore you don't your dragons are free" she looked at the dragons as they stayed put "Go! Your free!" she look back at Hiccup "If you have freed our dragons why haven't they flown away" Hiccup spoke as Mala had a angered look at him "Isn't it clear they no longer think for themselves, but we will change that" she turned around and started continued talking "Prepare for a royal trial" You were all put in a cage and sat in there until they came to bring you to the trail "You Hiccup, have been accused of being a dragon hunter, do you deny this" she asked sitting on a throne as Hiccup walked towards her "Y-yes" he stopped "But you shackle them and make them do your bidding?" You rubbed your head at the thought of being a dragon hunter as Hiccup and Mala talked. A hunter!? Really, I can understand why she's suspicious of us though. Viggo is very smart and crafty.......kinda what I admire about him....... you paused at your last thought until it was broken by Tuffnut walking up "This is going to be bad" you mumbled then returned to your thoughts. Hiccup gave an amazing speech and had everyone awed until Mala pulled out the map with Viggo's signature on it. "I sentence you to the same fate as all Hunters......The nest" she said as you and the riders looked at eachother with concerned faces. As you walked into a cave you were behind the other riders admiring the dragons inside the cave. As you came to a stop you stood next to Heather and Astrid. "So he can train any dragon" Heather asked watching Hiccup near the edge "except a few" you said looking at Heather "Whispering death, changwings, and-" Astrid was cut off by Hiccup "and speed stingers" he watched as a small pack gathered below, before anything else could be said he was pushed by throk into the hole. You couldn't see what was going on but you had a bad feeling because Astrid was trying to get in there to help Hiccup. A black figure flew over the riders heads into the hole that Hiccup was in, Hiccup flew out on top of toothless. You grabbed a spear while knocking out one of the guards and the rest of the riders followed. "Surrender" Mala said pulling out her sword as Stormfly landed infront of us "Yeah I'm thinking no" Astrid said standing behind her dragon "Think about this Mala if we were hunters would these dragons risk their lives to protect us" Hiccup said patting toothless's head. Mala sighed "Release him.....release them all" she said looking at Hiccup then scratching toothless's chin "Know this Hiccup if you betray me I will kill you" Hiccup nodded "Thats fair enough" he said getting down from toothless as you all went back to the village to be toured. As you walked around Throk noticed a scar on your shoulder "Would you like to get that checked out" He pointed to it as it bled a little. You covered the scar but then nodded, he led you into the infirmary then left to go back to Mala as your wound was checked and bandaged. You saw as Hiccup and a few of the others took to the sky, you felt uneasy but didn't want to question anyone so you got on your dragon and headed back to the edge thinking thats where the others were going. As you flew closer to the edge you noticed a hunter ship. "That can't be good get closer boy" As D/n drew closer you saw as a dragon flew off the ship and towards the peak which was a dormant volcano. You couldn't attack the dragon so you decided to confront Viggo, you flew to his ship and landed. He turned to you "My dear y/n, your the first back" He said smirking signaling to his men to leave you alone and to continue with the mission. He walked towards you "What are you doing Viggo?" You said getting off D/n, who was watching Ryker. "I'd think it be clear" Viggo said while putting his hands behind his back. You looked at the dragon flying towards the peak. It took a second to process but then you clenched your fists "Your trying to destroy our home" he laughed the put his hands on your shoulders which made you flinch "My dear, if dear Hiccup hadn't interfered with every single dragon catch through these past few weeks. It would've never came to this" D/n growled at Viggo as he spoke, before you spoke a bunch of dragons flew over the ship towards the edge. "Ah, Hiccup has arrived" Viggo removed his hands from your shoulders and placed them behind his back once again. "Come on, boy" you jumped onto D/n "Please consider joining me dear Y/n, with you my life would be complete" you scoffed at the thought of him even having the guts to think you would want to join him as a hunter. He smirked as you flew to help the others. By time you caught up the riders they had reclaimed the edge and settled the Eruptodon dragon. As everyone returned to Mala's Island everyone was celebrating since their dragon had returned but also Hiccup and the dragon riders were their new allies.
