Third person's POV
Both were seated in the car while Arjun driving it, Meera was busy looking out of the window and thinking hard.
Why her as the new board member?
Why giving her so much power?
Does Grandpa know her birth parents?
Both were thinking the same but Arjun had his own ambition to fulfill.
He knows how emotional Meera could become when the time comes...but he has to control his emotions first.
Breaking the tension Arjun spoke.
Arjun's POV
"A penny for your thoughts?"
"Huh!"
She jerked away when she heard me.
Still a curious one.
"Congratulations to be the new board member...I mean it was sudden but Grandpa would have thought something."
I gave her a small smile which she reverted with a confused smile.
"I don't know how to react Arjun."
Woah...my name sounds so good from her tounge. I want more.
"It's okay...but you have to be more careful now. Shares gives us more power but you need to be vigilant."
I don't know from where this protectiveness is coming from me for her.
"Done concilling me Arjun?"
She sounded a bit irritated.
"Yeah.." I smirked.
Well my old Meera is coming back.
"And I remember this is not the way to home...so where are you taking me?" She asked in monotonous voice.
"Well.... I'm kidnapping you and then murder. Okay?"
I gave her a cute smile but she glared me.
"Arjun Singhal where the hell are you taking me?"
She was a bit louder now...maybe angry.
I love to make her irritate!
Like old times.
"Relax Meru, I'm taking you to my house. I bought it an year ago."
"What did you just called me?"
Oh fuck...did I just called her that?
Meera's POV
Meru...he remembers!
For a moment I had this feeling to give up my hopes with him..but he does remember everything.
Maybe this time I can right everything which we wronged.
Which they wronged.
"Ah..I mean Meera."
Again cold Arjun is back.
"Why aren't you taking me to Grandpa's house? And why do you live alone without your family?"
"They are not my family!"
He snapped at me...that's new.
I again started to look out from my window.
Why the hell did I agreed to come with him?
The car stopped in front of a beautiful estate. It wasn't a big house...but looked cozy and welcoming.
