Melody was in her living room ready when she heard the doorbell go off a couple of times. She rolled her eyes already knowing who it was. She got up, reluctantly putting her book down. When she opened the door, standing there was Hazel and Jack. They both insisted on going costume shopping with her for the Halloween party. Melody thought it would be fun so she agreed. She opened the door and let them in.
"So, are you ready for the check-up?" Jack inquired as Hazel smirked.
"Huh?" Melody asked raising an eyebrow. She sat down on the couch grabbing a pillow.
"We need to see what clothes you already have," Hazel responded sitting down with Jack.
"So y'all are going to raid my closet?" Melody deadpanned
"Yep c'mon," Hazel got up, walking towards Melody's room.
They got inside and opened the doors to what she thought was a pretty simple closet. She had mainly t-shirts, baby tees, hoodies, and jeans. She only had sneakers for shoes.
"Ok, so you basically have nothing, what about jewelry?" Jack asked.
"What the hell, what do you mean? I have a bunch of stuff," Melody exclaimed pointing to her closet.
"Look, Melly" Jack started putting her hands on her shoulder "Those are regular clothes, we need Halloween clothes." she persisted as Hazel nodded her head in agreement.
"You guys," Melody sighed flopping onto her bed

"So can someone tell me why we're here?" They were at the mall and walked into a store that only had dresses. Melody didn't know those existed and she liked it that way.
"We're here to get your costume," Hazel answered.
"And my costume is a dress?" Melody asked raising an eyebrow.
"Uh, yes." Jack deadpanned like it was obvious.
"So, what are you guys gonna be?" she asked going through the dresses they had.
"You'll see," Hazel replied.
"Oh, try this one," Jack exclaimed. She was holding up a white dress that ruffled off-the-shoulder sleeves and a simple floral broderie design
"Yea, that one is cute," Hazel added.
"Try what on?" MELODY raised an eyebrow.
She ended up fitting the dress and it was a hard no. It was mid-thigh length and tight, almost like a second skin. Melody felt exposed even though she was pretty covered up, for the most part.
"Are you done?!" Hazel whispered- yelled outside the room.
"Uh... yea!?" Melody whisper-yelled back cracking the door so they could come in.
They came inside and the look of shock took over their faces.
"Mel, you look awesome," Hazel complimented
"Yea, you sure you only like boys?" Jack inquired making Melody playfully roll her eyes.
"I don't know, it's cute but kinda tight," Melody crossed her arms over her semi-exposed chest.
"Melody you look amazing," Hazel reassured.
