"Can we put a film on Joe? Something that I'll stay awake watching." Dianne asked as they were lying in Joes bed watching some YouTube videos on his laptop.
"Yeah if you want. I'll put something on the TV. Do you wanna chose from Netflix or Disney?" Joe asked, already sure he knew the answer. Dianne took the remote and went straight onto Disney plus to look for a film.
"High school musical? We can sing?" Dianne suggested.
"Alright, but the 2nd one, it has the best songs." Joe said, he didn't really want to watch it but if it was the only way Dianne would stay awake then he would. They ended up singing to every song before Joe got a bit fed up and instead of watching the film, found himself looking at the crazy redhead dancing in her place next to him.

"I GOTTA GO MY OWN WAY!" Dianne sang very loudly. "Joe be Troy!" She demanded.
"What about us." Joe spoke much to Dianne's disgust that he wasn't singing.
"I'll just be both then." She said, putting on a voice when she was being Troy and doing her normal voice while being Gabriella. Joe just watched her and laughed. It shocked him at how comfortable she was with him, they had only known eachother a few weeks and already she was being herself around him, she wasn't afraid to act weird. Due to Dianne's performances, she had become really tired and fell asleep straight away once the film had ended, leaving Joe awake, with a dead arm due to Dianne lying on it as she rested her head on his chest.

"Joe can I come in?" Tracey whispered from outside the door, Joe told her to come in.
"Aww bless. She's flat out." Tracey said as she saw Dianne asleep. "Was that her singing before."
"Yeah, she was on a bit of a mad one." Joe laughed quietly, not wanting to wake her up.
"I could tell. What time are you taking her out tomorrow? Do you need me to drive you?" Tracey asked, already aware of Joes date idea.
"We're going at about 11, and we should be fine, we can walk. Me and Di are filming a video in the morning probably but then I need the edit it and get it out for tomorrow." Joe stressed.
"Leave it for the weekend, it's fine, you don't need a video out every week. Do one next week. Enjoy tomorrow with Dianne." Tracey told him.
"Yeah, I won't do a video." He said, Tracey watched as Dianne started to move in her sleep, only slightly before cuddling more into Joe.
"That's cute, right I'll leave you Joe. Let me know if you need a lift tomorrow. Goodnight." Tracey said as she headed out the room.

Joe lay awake for a bit longer, he couldn't believe what was happening.  He couldn't believe how lucky he had got. He had heard some boys around school, in his year and the year above, all talking about Dianne. He knew loads of people found her attractive, and he couldn't believe that he was the one that was going to be able to call her his. All through school he had watched his friends get girlfriends and he was the one who was always single, he always said he was just waiting for the right time, he had now found that time and the person. He couldn't think of any reason why Dianne wouldn't be the person he would grow up with and fall in love with, there was nothing telling him he was wrong, he knew Dianne was the right person and he couldn't be happier.

"Joe, Joe." Dianne nudged Joe. She had woken up at 6:30, it now being 8 and she was getting impatient waiting for Joe, and she really needed something.
"What time is it?" He groaned as he woke up.
"8:15 I need something though." She said as he sat up.
"What do you need? Are you okay?"
"Do you have any anxiety medication like kalms tablets or something?" Dianne asked, "I feel anxious." She admitted, she didn't feel as if she needed to hide her feelings from Joe, especially when she wasn't feeling great.
"We should do. We can go down and get some now, let me put a dressing gown on or something so I'm not walking round in my boxers." He laughed, grabbing a dressing gown out of his wardrobe, passing Dianne one aswell. They both went downstairs and into the kitchen, where Tracey and Zoe were both sat having pancakes that Zoe had made.
"I've made you both some pancakes." Zoe said as she watched Joe route through the medicine cupboard.
"Thanks Zoe." Dianne said as she sat down waiting for Joe.
"Mum, where are the kalms tablets? The day ones?" Joe asked once he couldn't find them.
"I think they've gone Joe. Zo finished them yesterday, are you okay?" Tracey asked, worried that her son wasn't feeling himself.
"Oh I'm fine. It's, wait can I say?" Joe checked, Dianne nodded. "Dis feeling anxious."
"I left my pack at home. I'll be fine though don't worry." Dianne said.
"Bless you, I've got a spray if you want. You just spray two sprays onto your tongue. Do you want me to go get that?" Zoe asked, she knew first hand how hard it could be if you were feeling anxious but didn't have anything to help.
"Are you sure, I'll be fine." Dianne told her.
"I'll go get it." Zoe said, Joe sat down next to Dianne, putting his arm round her and pulling her into his side when she lay.
"Here you go Di. Just 2 squirts onto your tongue and then it should help." Zoe said passing Dianne the spray she did it, thanking Zoe and giving it her back.
"You still up for going out?" Joe checked, he didn't want to make her do something she didn't want to.
"Yeah, definitely. I'm fine. Just a bit anxious, but it will pass, now give me the Nutella!" Dianne laughed before covering her pancake in Nutella and bananas.

"Which outfit Joe? The skirt or the jeans? Which ones best for what we're doing?" Dianne asked as she pulled two outfits out of her bag.
"I like the skirt, wear that." Joe said, Dianne nodded and went into his en-suite to get changed.
"You look so cute." Joe said as she came back out.
"Thanks, I got the skirt from a chazza when I was on tour." She told him.
"A chazza?"
"A charity shop. I think I was in Italy when I got this one." Dianne told him.
"It's really cute, suits you." Joe said making Dianne blush, she walked over to him and gave him a hug. "Do you wanna get going?"
"Yeah, I'm excited to see what you have planned." Dianne said jumping slightly, showing how excited she was. Joe grabbed her hand and they headed downstairs and got their shoes on.
"Mum we're going!" Joe shouted into the living room.
"Okay, have a good time!"
"Bye Tracey!" Dianne shouted as they headed out the door. "Now where we going Joey?"
"That's for me to know and you to find out Dot!" He said, again making Dianne blush when he called her dot.

They walked for a good hour before they got to a little village that Dianne hadn't been to yet.
"This Di, is Chippenham, you've not been before have you?" Joe asked, she shook her head.
"It's so cute, it's like home but cuter." Dianne said, since moving to England she had fallen in love with the little village of Lacock but found this even cuter.
"It is isn't it. So I've booked a table at a cute little restaurant for lunch, my treat, and then my grandparents live here so we can go and see them if you want. I usually go when I come here." Joe said, hoping dianne liked the idea of the day he had planned.
"Yeah that sounds lovely."
