Dinner Date

Wil and I get in his car, he's taking me to dinner.
"I hope you don't mind, but im going to be playing music" William says breaking the silence.
The Cult of Dionysus starts blaring threw his radio

The sun starts setting music blaring through the speakers its a great end of the day
his music continues to play when certain lyrics seem to stick out

I love these words, like a sweet poem the words as sticky as the sap of trees sticking to you kind of reminds me of the night... he burnt my house down...
Williams singing makes it seem better his voice is sweet like he practices often, though he probably doesn't that seems like something he wouldn't do.
or maybe he would? it would be funny if he did a children's pizza place working, with a fantastic singing voice? wait... that actually kind of makes sense since the animals sing and all? but he works the night shift? what does he do in his free time..?
AHH why am I over thinking this? he's just a friend and I have to remember that.

"Hey? you alright" he asks
you are brought back to reality the music is ending and he grabs you chin making you look at him
"uhh you just seemed kinda out of it" he says embarrassed
I keep your head in his embrace, staring into his eyes, I then remember he asked me a question
"oh yeah .. im fine" I chuckle
I sit up taking my head away from his hand
he shuffles in his seat shifting his hands on the wheel the sun is practically set now, the weather is still beautiful even though I can see rain clouds coming in closer. The light turns green and we start driving again.
Music was still blaring windows, rolled down, the sun peeking through the clouds with only minutes left to live.. it was the perfect night.
I let out a long sigh and shift in my seat we have been driving for what seems to be hours, it was only 45 minutes but i couldn't wait any longer
"Uhh where exactly are we going?"
he lets out a soft laugh
"Perfect timing"
We pull into a parking lot of a small cafe perfectly lit inside, its dim yellow lighting making the place feel warm and cozy, straight of a romcom.
"alright lets go in" Will says as he unbuckles his seat belt
we walk in the smell of coffee is overbearing
"Welcome to Agrona's Cafe, If you follow me I can seat you" a woman said, she looked almost brought back from the dead her faded blondish hair was sloppily thrown back and her skin was almost too pale.
I glance at Will and don't say a word following the lady I notice no one is here, which is strange considering William had hyped this place up earlier in the car.
We sit where she seats us and look through the menus
"Well .. this place was definitely better a few years ago" he chuckles well scratching his neck

"Well its definitely quite which is nice" I smile and continue locking at the menu
It's a breakfast place! no wonder no ones here!!
wait then why the hell is it still open?
"So are we ready to order?" A server comes over different from the lady who sat us, In fact I don't even see her anymore..
"My names Kritanta i'll be here to help if you need anything!" they said they're voice was so beautiful almost Goddess like, in-fact they looked very holy almost like a glow emitted from them.
"I'd like Toast with grape jam and milk"
"Alright and how about you?"
"Oh uh I'd like the Waffles and Orange juice please"
