My eyelids felt heavy, so heavy to the point of me having to use all the little strength I had to try and force them open.

When I did get them opened, I wish I had just kept them closed when my eyes were met with hers. The crazy bitch.

I winced at the throbbing pain from all over my head that was just hurting more and more the longer I stayed awake. My whole body felt like oobleck, not even jello by how heavy it felt as well as being unable to move. My next sensation was the stinging pain I felt from my wrists and moving them little by little, the chains could be heard clinging against each other.

"You made me do it, I'm sorry." She told me with a look of guilt on her face. "If you would've stayed put then you wouldn't have been like that and you're just not trustable; at least for now."

"Why are you doing this?"

She shrugged her shoulders lazily with her eyebrows furrowed probably trying to find an answer in that fucked up brain of hers, "I don't know... I just felt like it."

I scoffed clenching my teeth and feeling my chest breathe in and out harder and harder. I felt so helpless, suffocated, limited, and even scared. She looked so innocent on the outside as if she could never do any wrong and yet this is who she really was. Looks can really be so deceiving...

My body and my state of mind did not feel connected. It felt as if I was drowning and yet I wasn't even submerged in water or near any water to begin with. Speaking of water, I was also extremely dehydrated. It had barely even been a day being captured and I was already on the edge.

I really had two choices, two of which I wouldn't be the one deciding but rather my body. To get used to it slowly and gain her trust, or, I would become a maniac like her.

Her staring at me made me uncomfortable and yet of course I couldn't do anything about it. At least she wasn't touching me and gave me space though my clothes were gone except for my undergarments.

Preparing myself first, I pulled on the chains that held my wrists and pulled myself up to sit up against the cool wall. My arms were raised up since that's how I had been shackled including my ankles that were shackled to the wall behind me as well. The chains were pretty short letting me know that even if I were to try and run, I definitely wouldn't make it far.

I wouldn't be pulling the same stunt I did the last time since it only took me several steps back instead of even a single hope to get out of here.

"What are you thinking about over there?" She asked me scooting closer to me on the mattress and my body instantly moved back even though the wall prevented me from getting back any further. "Are you thinking of me?"

"Umm... yeah, yeah I am." I mustered up a smile. "I'm thinking about you."

"Really...?" She laughed out a small laugh shyly and even tucked some strands of hair away behind her ears.

"Of course I am. I mean," I chuckled a bit. "There's not really much to think about anyways. It's just all you in my head."

She tucked in her bottom lip, biting on it before releasing it with saliva glossed over. She was acting shy looking at the ground and every other place besides me before her eyebrows scrunched up together and the look on her face changed, "You're not... you're not lying to me are you?"

The way her mood had changed so quick made me gulp hoping what I would say next sounded convincing enough, "Of- of course I'm not lying. I wouldn't do that to you."

"Oh... okay, I believe you."

I nodded my head not knowing what else to do next as we just sat in awkward silence. That was until I felt her move closer to me and it took all that I had to not flinch.
