Sophia's P.O.V.
My head feels like it has been used as a bowling ball as everything is either blurry or spinning. My eyes flutter open a few times, and I gather enough details to understand that I am back in the room Jackson had blessed me with. But other than that, I don't know much. I remember the vision very well. I just don't feel like talking about it, let alone thinking about it.
I don't feel like talking about anything...
I lived such a...rough life, in a way, and I don't understand all of it. But the things I do understand are so complex that it's hard to understand. I mean, I understand that I used to be a woman who lived life on the edge, and now, I stay hundreds of miles away from the edge of life.
I sigh and run my hands down my face before I stretch my legs out and turn onto my side. But I freeze when my feet hit a rather 'big' thump.
A thin blanket separates my feet from the 'thump', so I am unable to tell what it is from the mere touch of my feet. So with yet another sigh, I roll onto my back and use my arms to just lift the upper half of my body up, and to my surprise, I see an all-white wolf lying at the end of my bed.
I don't scream, I don't pass out, nor do I freak out. My emotions are all over the place, and honestly, seeing an albino wolf at the end of my bed is the least of my worries at the moment.
"If you're going to kill me, get it over with, if not, get your muddy paws off the bed please."
I huff out as I allow my upper half to fall back on the bed. The wolf's paws are covered in what looks to be dried mud, and I'm sure Jackson would not be pleased if he found out a wolf had gotten mud on the expensive bed blanket.
This thing probably costed well over a hundred dollars with all it's fancy designs.
The wolf lets out a displeased growl, before crawling up the bed until his big massive head lies on my stomach. I glance at him and see the most golden eyes I have ever seen. They're almost shining.
Like the stars that light up the darkest of skies...
I huff out, or rather, I try to, but it's nearly impossible to do so as the wolf's head is heavy on my stomach. Speaking of stomachs, a loud annoying grumble sound comes from within me. My body demands food, but just the mere thought of food does not settle this hunger. No, this type of hunger can only be satisfied with one thing, and one thing only....blood.
But not just any blood. It has to be human blood. It's been rumored throughout Vampire society for many generations that some Vampires have opted to drink the blood of witches or fairies, as they see it's more humane than drinking the blood of a human.
I think they're paranormal vitamins would beg to differ.
You see, when a vampire drinks from another paranormal creature, they get what humans like to call a 'buzz'; it's as if they have had a few alcoholic drinks. But it's called a 'magic buzz' in the paranormal world, because that's exactly what it is. Witches and fairies are by far two of the most magical creatures in all the realms, and since fairies are almost entirely extinct, that puts an even bigger target on the witches' backs. But thankfully, there are only around fifty vampires and vampiresses who live such an... unnatural lifestyle.
They truly make the rest of us look so weak and unnatural.
I sigh once more and shake my head slightly. I shouldn't know all of this, and yet I do. It's like I have so much knowledge from my past life that seems to be flowing into my current life in waves, and yet, the memories of my past life are coming in at such a slower pace. But nevertheless, they're coming, and there's nothing I can do to stop them.
