Y/N was whistling a merry tune while walking around his mechanic's lab, busy moving boxes of explosives, acid and many more everyday things you see in a weapons lab. Neo sat to the side watching her father with keen eyes to make sure he doesn't end up killing himself
"Alright Neo, time for your upgrade" Y/N said excitedly as he started turning on all the strange and elaborate machines in the room before walking over and putting his hand out for her umbrella
Neo looked at his and in confusion for several seconds before realising what he wanted and dropping it in his hand "What kind of upgrades will you be doing dad?" she asked in a soft voice, almost unhearable to the untrained ear
"Well... I was thinking of adding a sharp point to the top so that you could stab people with it without extracting your sword. We will also be increasing the durability of the membrane so that it doesn't get harmed by the dust bullets Snow was talking about. I will also be adding a gun burrel into the spike so that you can also shoot with it. Hmm, I guess we can also upgrade the sword itself to a higher level as well as allow it to channel your magical power" as Y/N was speaking he was doing exactly as he said, raising the legendary class weapon to an unknown class weapon
"Thanks, dad" Neo whispered as Y/N handed her back her upgrade weapon. Y/N just gave her a head pat before the door opened and Rose rushed in. "Isitmyturnforaweaponupgrade, isitisitisit?" she asked at her super pace
"Haha, yeah Rose, it is so please pass me the scythe" Rose nodded rapidly as Y/N started upgrading her weapon as well
The first thing he did was modify the DNA of the weapon so that it could change shape to Rose's will so that it could fit almost any situation. He also added a laser sniper barrel that could channel her negative aura into dark lasers or normal corrupt sniper rounds. He then proceeded to start feeding it data crystals to upgrade its rank till it to was an unknown class weapon
"There we go, all upgraded, it even unlocked some special effects that you will have to look at in your own time. Now off you go Rose, you got a job to do, don't you?" Y/N asked with a smile as the scyth turned into a black rose that he put behind her ear
Next, to come in was Yang, and seeing as she had no weapon besides her Grimm arm Y/N decided to start making her a weapon he had seen a long time ago in the hands of a giant in green. "Alright Yang, besides editing the DNA in your false arm to allow it to shrink, I have also made you this"
Y/N brought out a large double-barreled heavy shotgun with a meat hook at the bottom, "You can play with this in your own time, it looks like Ravens here for her upgrade as well" and as he said Raven walked in and gave him her sword
"Hmm, what to add, maybe a vibration function to the blade so that it can cut through thing more easily? And maybe the ability to throw off energy blades? Or perhaps the ability to spread corruption? and why not all 3 if I can?"
And so Y/N proceeded to upgrade the sword in all 3 of the ways he thought about before upgrading it to Unknown class as well, whoever said swords were boring hmm? "Thank you, Father, I will proceed with my mission now" and with that Raven left
A few minutes late Blake tried to sneak in but was grabbed by the scruff of her neck by Y/N, who forcfu8lly sat her down on a chair as he started playing with the DNA in her tentacle arms till they could become normal human-like arms
And although she didn't really have weapons Y/N started forging some throwing knives and daggers for her to use on her stealth missions. Besides that he also upgraded her assassin cloaths to be able to turn her invisible if she was completely still with no magical cost what so ever
Andlast but not leastto vome in was Snow. This took a lot of thinking for Y/N so in the end, he decided to make it so that the blade could spin like a drill as well as letting it create power waves when she put magic into it.
He also upgraded her clawed gauntlet so that it would leave paralysis and bleeding effect on the person on the other side of her attack if they were 20 levels lower than her fake LVL 100. While Y/N was there she informed him of some more things she had found
"I did some studying of the worlds myths and it turns out that there was a story of a wizard who gave 4 females the power of the season, whatever that means, so that they could fight the Grimm. I do not think they could pose harm to even a high-level Grimm but I still thought it was an interesting idea to corrupt these powers and turn them into our pawns"
Needless to say, Y/N had added the order to see if these 'Maidens' could be found and to report their location if they were ever found. They would need many pawns in this new world so that they could take control easier
"*Few* All done with the upgrades, but I should probably make a weapon for Salem so she doesn't get pissed that we missed our anniversary" he said before starting to create a Great Sword
The sword was 5,5 feet in length and would special abilities so that she may channel her large mana pool into it and make it near indestructible. It would still require some fine-tuning and adjustments but Y/N was pretty sure that once it was finished it would only be slightly weaker than the Staff of Ainz Ooal Gown
'Huh, forgot to ask if Ainz had gotten to her yet, oh well, you win some you lose some'
