Music played in the background as people all dance and just overall enjoyed themselves and the company they were in. On a balcony stood a young women in a red dress, her hair covering one of her amber colour eyes as she observed all the students and adults dancing

Just behind her stood 2 people, one being a relatively short girl, standing at 5'7, she had green hair and red eyes, She kept glancing between the first lady and the crowd below them, her hand twitching towards her concealed gun whenever someone looked in their general direction

The final member of this oh so happy trio was a male with silver hair wearing grey clothes. He just leaned against the wall at the back in boredom, his eyes lazily following the couple who burst in earlier with their golden guards

"This is boring, when are you going to leave Cinder?" The male asked, his eyes briefly leaving the couple from earlier to look at his boss. "Soon, just want everyone to be too focused on the party to notice me slip away, also, don't say that too loud, don't want anyone to hear you now do we Mercury?" Cinder responded
"If you say so boss" The now named Mercury responded before looking at where the couple were dancing originally. Only he didn't find them there, or anywhere for that matter, the golden guards that had been protecting them were nowhere to been seen either, as though they just disappeared
"Ah, Cinder, on a scale of one to ten, how much should I keep my eyes on the couple that burst in earlier?" He asked, her eyes searching the crowd at double speed now. Cinder seemed to think about it before speaking
"I would say around about 8 to 9, they could delay the mistresses plans or even outright ruin them... Why do you ask?" Cinder looked back at him and saw his eyes moving almost too fast to see but before she could ask what was wrong...
"It's sad you would think I would ruin my dear wives plan," a voice said from the darkness, deep like a baritone, and yet no one was there to be seen. Cinder started to panic and summoned a ball of fire in her hand
Only for the shadows to shoot up and extinguish the small ball of fire "Now, now Cinder, don't want your maiden powers to become common knowledge do we?" The voice asked with a slight chuckle but was stopped when a slapping sound was heard
"Please stop scaring them, dear, I'm certain Salem won't be happy when she hears her spies have died from heart attacks, wouldn't you agree?" Asked an angelic female voice from the shadows as well before the lady from earlier started to appear out of the darkness, taking a light puff from her cabin
"I thought you would be the most likely to join in on the prank out of you 3" The male voice responded without the extras deep effect, not that it made his voice any less deep, just less... intimidating, but only by very little as the voice carried a hidden sense of darkness while giving off a light tone
Slowly the male to appeared from the darkness, straightening his shirt as he did so, a devilish smirk on his lips while the female gave him a slight glare but the effect was ruined by the faint tints of red on her cheeks
The male turned back to the 3 frozen humans, his eyes focusing on the confused and frightened Cinder "Hello Cinder, good to see you again" The male said, leaving Cinder even more confused, when had she ever seen this man before tonight
*Snap*"Oh right, you saw me in my other form, well, to enlighten you to who I am... I'm the one who snuck onto your bullhead while you were running away with Roman" the man snapped his fingers as he realised his mistake
"And although I doubt you'll know who I am, I am Lux, the light power of the person you know as Salem" Lux said, her tone imperious and leaving no room to debate or even question her
"W-wait... What!" cinder whisper yelled, looking between the 2 gods that stood before her, her mouth wide open alongside her 2 fellows. Never in a million years would she think she would hear Salem had a light side
"No, no Cinder, Light Power, I am nowhere near good, I actually think my karma is -250," Lux said, first to Cinder, then to Y/N, who just shrugged his shoulders. "It's still quite a bit higher than mine at -1000 from being a Grimm plus the -500 for being the void king and added the -250 from being an evil Light god. So I have -1750 Karma"
Cinder lost track of what they were saying almost the instant after they finished speaking to her. What did they mean by Karma? No one in this world or the next will ever know
Y/N turned back to look at the 3 people who had no care for, except for maybe Emerald, she could make a useful servant with her illusionary abilities, but even then it would be nothing compared to his, but still pawns were useful in their own way
"Well, we just came to check that you still had the guts to do this mission and hadn't fallen for any of those 'I love the hero so I will become good' moments, I saw it happen a few times, almost always ends with the them dieing without their love being returned" Y/N said before walking away into the shadows again
"Come, Lux, let us enjoy there rest of tonight while they do their mission," He said before fully disappearing. Lux turned to face them with serious eye
"My other-selves and I have put our faith in you to complete this mission perfectly, do NOT embarrass us in front of our husband when we said you could do this" and with those encouraging words, she was gone
