Gellert Grindelwald 6 part 2.

A/n this part 2 to the soulmate au.

It has been a year since I learned that my soulmate is Gellert Grindelwald, my life is the best it has been in years. I have real friends, a big castle to live in and a soulmate who cares deeply about me,more than any one has my entire life.

Sure we have out little disagreements,but what healthy relationship doesn't,oh forgot to mention me and Gellert are now in a relationship,anyway its not one big argument its more I tease Gellert and he teases me back,its all good fun.

Although on this particular morning, I get some strange new information about myself. I'm sat in the kitchen eating breakfast when Abernathy walks in with a newspaper. It is only when he starts to read said paper,that I see my own picture looking back at me. I lean over the table and snatch the paper from him
"Hey,I was reading that"
"I want to know why I am on the cover".

I sit back and read the small piece
" it has been one year since the kidnapping of Y/N L/N and her parents and fiancé plead with her captors to let her return home to get married"
"Well that's interesting and weird" I say
"What is?" Queenie asks,walking over to me.

"Apparently I have been kidnapped and my parents want me back" I say
"How is that weird?" Queenie asks
"The weird bit is that,I have a fiancé I knew nothing about" I say
"Fiancé,what fiancé?" Gellert asks,walking into the kitchen
"Exactly, I don't have one" I say confused. Gellert reads the piece himself.

"You can't be kidnapped if you came willingly" Gellert says
"I know"I say
"We shall talk about this in private" Gellert tells me. We make our way to his office and once sat down,Gellert says to me"If this person is your fiancé, could it be that the agreement was made when you where a baby?"
"That is a possible" I admit.

"Now that I think about it,it does seem like the logical explanation" I say
"Did your father have any rich or powerful friends?" Gellert asks
"Not that I know of" I say"Wait,the boss of his company...er something Thompson,he is a rich traditional man"I say,Gellert sat and thought about this information I had given him
"Did this Thompson have a son?"

"Yeah,Carl was his name I think" I say
"I think I can give you an answer to this problem, but it will take a few hours to gather the right information" Gellert tells me,standing up
"You would do that for me?" I ask,also standing up
"Of course my dear,I don't want another man trying to claim something that is already mine" Gellert tells me.

"Well when you put it that way,it does sound sweet" I say sarcastically. Whilst Gellert was away gathering the information, I had to find something to do. I paced back and forth in front of the fireplace in the living room,I then sat down on the sofa not two seconds later did,the door open and Gellert walk in
"Please say you have an answer for me?" I ask.

"Hello to you too my dear" Gellert says,sitting beside me. I lean over and kiss him passionately on the mouth
"Better?" I ask,once parted
"For now" Gellert says"And to answer your question, yes I do have a answer"
"Okay,tell me" I say.

"Your grandfather on your fathers side was a very wealthy man,and upon his deathbed he told his son that all of his money would go to his first born grandchild,be they boy or girl,Which is you however your father owes a great deal of money to his own boss James Thompson. So your father agreed to betroth you to Carl Thompson, thus all that money would go to him and back into Thompson and co company" Gellert informs me.

"So my parents and Carl only want me back,so they can get there hands on this money,which I knew nothing about" I say
"It would seem that way" Gellert says
"And I was hoping they wanted to save me,because they missed me. Not that I need saving" I say
"Evidently not my dear" Gellert says.

"Is there anyway to claim this money,without marrying this Carl?" I ask
"I couldn't say,you would need to see your grandfather's will"
"Then that is what we shall do."
