This year the tri wizard tournament is taking place at Durmstrang which is in the cold but I love the cold A group of us from Hogwarts and the school in France have made there way to the school to witness the tournament. Of course only one student from each school will take part,I'm only here because of my good grades,I don't want to compete.
There is ten of us,five boys and five girls so there is equal chance of any of us being picked. Whilst we are here we still have to do our lessons, as the tournament takes up the biggest part of the year. Oh and there is the dreaded Yule Ball taking place. I'm not keen on social events and I can't dance but I have to go to represent the school.
Since I have been at this all boys school,I have noticed that I get more attention than normal well their is only 15 girls here so it is expected. All the others have dates for the ball,I don't which is fine with me. I made my way to the ball room,in my F/c dress and matching masks as it a masquerade ball. I look around the room,most of the Durmstrang boys are stood talking, there is a food table and some couples dancing.
I made my way into the room,after eating some food I go and stand by the side of the room. I watch the dancing for sometime, until I am interrupted by a voice "Not joining in?" I glance over and see a boy in a black suit and mask "No I'm not" I tell him "Would you dance with me?" He asks with a bow "I can't dance" I say.
"You just need the right teacher" he tells me,offering a hand. I hesitate but take the boys hand which is colder than my own. We make our way onto the dance floor and the boy turns to face me"Just follow my lead"I take up the dance position and we start to dance slowly. I got a better look at him,I could see despite his mask that he is handsome,with a strong jawline and sharp cheek bones,his eyes are unique as they are two different colours and his platinum blonde hair is slightly long

"Enjoying the view?" The boys deep voice cuts into my thoughts "I wasn't staring"I tell him "You are checking me out" he teased, I feel my face heat up "I...was...I haven't seen you around" I manage to say "Oh I don't do lessons any more" the boy says casually "Why not?" I ask.
"Let's say I'm on my final warning and they thought it would be best to take me out of lessons to try and better my self" he explained "So you're a rule breaker?" I ask "Why like bad boys do you?" The boy asks,leaning slightly closer to me and I can smell mint chocolate and snow on him "...maybe"I say quietly, making him smirk.
"So got a name"? He asks me "Yes" I say "Good,I've always wanted to meet someone called yes" the boys says making me laugh "So is your name as beautiful as your face and laughter?" "I'm not beautiful" I say "Right sorry,gorgeous face"the boy corrects himself.
"You're quite the charmer?" I say "And you owe me a name?" The boy teased "Fine its Y/n,Y/n L/n" I tell him "A beautiful name for a beautiful Lady" he says"I'm Grindelwald, Gellert Grindelwald " "Okay boys and girls it is now midnight, so it is time for the reveal" a voice announced to the room.
"Midnight already" I say as we stop dancing "Time fly's when your looking in the eyes of a handsome and charming wizard" Gellert says "Who is full of himself" I sass him,Gellert laughs at my comment "Feisty, I like it".
We take off our masks and the room lights up so we can see each other better. And Gellert is stunning "You're staring again" Gellert tells me "And your not?" I say "Oh I am very much staring sweetheart, and I'm happy to admit it as well" Gellert tells me "You are something else" I say. The room slowly empty's and Gellert walked me back to the room I'm staying in
"I will say that I have enjoyed this evening,I normally find most people irritating but I love being in your company" I tell Gellert,as we reached my room "I aim to please" Gellert tells me,he take my hand to kiss it but changes his mind at the last second and kisses me on the lips instead. His lips are the right amount of cold and soft,it certainly is a memorable first kiss.
