Remi was frozen. She did not expect that the man he got permission to sit at his desk was John.
'What's John doing here? His suspension from school couldn't have ended so early, would it? ' Remi thought
Remi regretted her choice.
She wanted to get away from there at that moment. She was even willing to eat his food standing up.
But then she thought that John would refuse her request so she had no reason to worry.
While Remi was thinking about these, John replied
"Sure" John said
Remi nodded and sat down at John's table.
Remi thought she made the wrong choice again
Remi did not touch her food for about 5 minutes after sitting at the table. Meanwhile, John was still eating his hamburger.
John realized that Remi wasn't eating her hamburger, and bothered him.
"Won't you eat your hamburger?" John asked
Immersed in thought, Remi woke up with a sudden question from John and began to eat her hamburger.
For about 5 minutes, Remi continued to eat her burger without saying anything or even making eye contact with John.
Deeply disturbed by this situation, John decided to break the silence between them.
"Remi, what's wrong with you? You haven't spoken since you sat at the table." John said
Remi finally decided to break her silence and speak
"I wasn't expecting to see you here, John. I just surprised to see you here." Remi said with a dull voice
He understood from Remi's tone of voice that this was not the only problem.
"Remi, what's really bothering you? You can tell me." John said
Remi answered John in a slightly irritated tone.
"Oh, you said it like you would listen to me if I tell you." Remi said
"Don't worry, I'm not old John anymore. I've changed." John replied
"How can I believe you. You haven't listened to me before." Remi said
"If I hadn't changed, we wouldn't be having this conversation right now." John said
Remi noticed that John's attitude had changed. Then John asked again
"Now tell me, Remi, what's bothering you?" John asked
Remi's face turned sad after hearing this question
"I can't take it what happened anymore, John." Remi said sadly
"I really can't." she said
"Everything was back after you left. School, Royals, Everything." she said
"You were right about everything you said, John." she said
"And I can't take it anymore. John, what should I do?" Remi said in a tearful voice
After listening to what Remi had to say, John began to speak.
"To tell you the truth, I am not surprised, Remi. I am not surprised that everything was back after I left." John said
"Actually that was one of my fears. But there is something I am curious about, what happened to safe house?" John asked
"It remained active for a few more days after you left. Then we temporarily shut it down when people stopped coming." Remi replied
"Well, the others didn't help? Blyke, Isen, Arlo or even Sera?" John asked
"Nobody helped, John. After you left, everyone went back to their own business." Remi replied
"I tried to ask all of them for help. Blyke started training all the time. Isen went back to the press team. Arlo and Sera refused to help, saying they always had work. I'm tired now, John. It feels like I'm just trying to change things." she said
"And the saddest part is that I always fail." Remi said with a sad expression
After hearing this, John was upset that he was right for the first time in his life.
"Well Remi, if everyone is avoiding helping you, I'll help you." John said
Remi got curiosity in her after hearing this
"How, John? How can you help? You're responsible for some of the mess in the school, even if you're not entirely responsible." Remi asked
"I'm aware, Remi. That's why I want to help. I've done so many mistakes in the past and I don't want to be the person who made those mistakes anymore. I want to be the person who corrects those mistakes." John replied
"And the state of the school is one of these mistakes and I will try to fix this mistake." He said
Remi felt relief after John had said it, and realized that the John he was talking to was not the old John. He was talking to someone who regretted all his mistakes.
"John, I accept your offer. It's obvious that you regret all your mistakes and want to apologize." Remi said
John made a serious expression after these words
"I did not say I regret all my mistakes. I do not regret all the mistakes I made in the past. Ok, sometimes I went too far, but some were necessary. For example, if I did not go that far, you might not have noticed the state of the school. And no I have no intention of apologizing because I only apologize when necessary." John said
Remi was surprised after hearing this then she heard something from John she didn't expect to hear
"Sorry Remi, for what I said about your brother in the past." John apologized
"Your apology accepted," Remi happily said while smiling.
"Well John I understand you want to help but what can we do? Have a plan?" Remi asked
"Well yes I have a plan," John said with an evil grin
"So does your plan contain violence?" Remi asked anxiously
"Yes" John said with an evil grin
'Oh no' Remi thought
"I'm afraid to ask, but what's your plan?" Remi asked
Then John started explaining his plan to Remi. After finishing the explanation, Remi had feelings of worry and curiosity in her mind.
"I don't know John, I'm worried that violence will work." Remi said
"I know I'm not sure if it will work. But we have no other solutions. What would we lose from trying?" John said
Remi began to wonder whether John's plan would work. John spoke as Remi kept thinking.
"Everyone needs a stimulus to wake up, Remi. This stimulus it was me for you, and it was Sera for me." John said
"Okay, let's do the John plan. But when? You're still out of school, right?" Remi asked
"My suspension is ending next week. I want you to gather all the Royals to safe house next week. Then we will start implementing the plan." John replied
After a long conversation, the two finished their meals and went home. After reaching her room, Remi was lying on her bed and watching the ceiling of her room, she was still thinking about her conversation with John.
'I hope this plan works. And I hope John is right again.' she thought
Then Remi fell asleep with these thoughts
