Chapter 19 - Family 2

 New Bostin - 18.02.20XX

As John was sitting at his home in New Bostin and wasting time, he went to open the door with the knock on the door.

After opening the door, he saw a tall person with white hair combed back in front of him.

"Hello, John. How have you been since we haven't met, have you missed me?" He asked

After seeing this man in front of him, John was involuntarily happy and responded.

"Long time no see, Uncle Mark." John said

John invited his uncle inside and Mark met William.

"Hey Mark, it's been a long time since we met. You thought of finally dropping by." William said

"Nice to meet you. But I didn't just come here for a visit, I have specific issues to explain to you. Especially to John." Mark said

After Mark's words, the trio sat down and started talking.

"John, what I came here to tell is about your mother, more precisely about her death." Mark said

"Wait! You're not telling me that my mom is still alive, do you?" John asked

"No. Unfortunately, your mother is still dead." For some reason, John was disappointed after Mark's words.

"I came here to explain the cause of your mother's death." Mark said

John took a more serious attitude and listened to what his uncle had to say.

"I have to ask first, John, you're a late-bloomer right?" Mark asked

"Yes, I'm a late bloomer." 

"And when your ability was revealed, at what tier were they revealed?" Mark asked

"I was low-tier at first, but over time I trained and became god-tier." John replied

"You don't realize how lucky you are John" Mark said

John felt frivolous pride after his uncle's words and continued to listen to his uncle.

"But unfortunately your mother was not as lucky as you. Your mother was a late-bloomer like you. More precisely, your mother was the first late-bloomer." Mark said

"When I and your mother were born I was born with my abilities, but your mother was born crippled." Mark said

"Your mother didn't get her talent until she was in high school. Our family considered your cripple mother a shame because we were god-tier level. For me, I didn't care at all. Martha was my twin sister and she would stay that way no matter what." Mark said

"Wellston school has a secret rule. If a student reaches the royal level, that person's son or daughter will be admitted to the school in the future unconditionally." Mark said

"When we reached high school age, they wanted to send us to different high schools. But since I did not want to go to a different high school with my sister, your mother and I had to enroll in Wellston high school." Mark said

"Things got really bad when we got to Wellston High School. Students at the school bullied your mother every day. I tried to protect your mother as best I could, but unfortunately, I failed." Mark said

"One day, your mother's ability was unleashed while fighting one of the bullies. I can't tell you how happy your mother was that day." Mark said

"But unlike you, the mother's power was revealed not as low-tier, but as god-tier." Mark said
