After thinking for a while, John made up his mind
"I accept your offer. If this helps me save Sera, I will gladly work for EMBER." John said
"Okay then, there's something else I want but fro..." Mark tried to say
"I will gladly accept your offer. But I also have two conditions." John said
"What are those conditions?" Mark asked
"My first condition is that Sera will not be punished in any way after these works are over." John said
Mark didn't know what to say in the face of this condition
"John, you know I can't do this." Mark said
"Uncle Mark, after my dad wrote UnOrdinary, you prevented him from being punished. I'm sure you will find a solution to this condition." John said
"Hmmm. Okay John, I'll take a solution. What's your other condition?" Mark asked
"My other requirement is related to readjustment facility." John said
"John, what happened to you there?" Mark asked
"I was subjected to mental and physical torture during the 3 months I stayed there." John said
Mark began to shake with anger after what John had said.
"John, you should have told me this sooner. I don't accept what you said as a condition. I'll take care of the readjustment facility myself after this is done." Mark said angrily

Remi had mixed feelings after hearing this
Sadness
Sorrow
Anger
Guilt
Remi was one step away from a mental breakdown
"J-John, y-you're n-not-t l-lying to me, do y-you?" Remi stammered and asked
"I'm not lying, Remi. I'm telling the truth." John replied
Remi finally realized. Everything she went through this year was the result of her own selfishness.
If Remi had been sure that Arlo was running the school just as her older brother did, if she hadn't tried to avenge her brother after she died, if she had looked around a little more and realized the state of the school, perhaps none of this would have happened.
Remi had no salvation anymore, she was about to fall into depression.
Eventually, Remi could no longer hold back and began to tremble and cry.
She cried so loudly that her throat burst.
"Remi, are you okay?" John asked
Remi needed someone to cry on his shoulder at that moment. And naturally, she hugged John, the closest person, put her chin on his shoulder, and kept crying.
"No John. I'm not good at all." Remi said while crying
"As you said, John, I was too blind." Remi said
John suddenly broke Remi's hug, grabbed Remi's arms with his own and began to speak.
"Remi, I know you can't think properly right now. But don't tell anyone what I just said. Okay?" John asked
Remi nodded as she cried
John realized that he had to find an excuse and leave because he had to make a phone call.
"I'll get you water." John said
John went into the kitchen under the pretext of bringing water and called his uncle.
After a while, Mark picked up the phone and the two started talking on the phone.
"John, how are you? What's your reason for calling?" Mark asked
"I'm fine. Uncle Mark, I have something important to tell you. I told someone about EMBER's true purpose." John said
"John! You knew you shouldn't do something like that. Why did you do something like that?" Mark asked angrily
"She was just attacked by a Spectre member. She might have lost her ability if I wasn't there." John said
"Hmm... John, this reason is not enough to reveal the secret to her." Mark said
"Just because of this I didn't explain anyway. You told me, a superhero named X-Static lost his ability. She's the sister of X-Static. " John said
"John, there's another reason to tell her the secret, right?" Mark asked
"What kind of reason?" John asked curiously
"You care about her, right?" Mark asked
"WHAT?! NO!"
"Anyway you've already said, let me ask you something, what is her tier?" Mark asked
"God-tier. I'm sure, I felt it and I saw it. It was she who beat the Spectre member. I just stalled." John said
"Now things have changed, I have to meet with her. I will decide after meeting her. See you for now." Mark said and hung up
After John finished the phone call, he took a glass of water and went towards the hall.
When he went to the hall, he saw that Remi, tired of crying, fell asleep in his seat.
After putting the water in his hands on the table, he covered Remi with a blanket and let her sleep.
