Marinette was sitting at the dining table with her brother Jon Kent, her father Clark Kent and her mother Lois Lane. She was rambling on about how great superman is without knowing that he was right in front of her. Then suddenly she said "I am going on a date." Jon stared at her in disbelief and Clark screamed "You will not be going out with anyone until you are older." he huffed. Jon re-composed himself and asked, "who is it anyways?" to which she replied "You know that boy in our maths class, named Jack Thomson." "Fine but be back by- '' Clark started but he was cut off by Marinette rolling her eyes and saying "9.00pm I know dad." Clark just sighed.

Marinette went on the date but was stood up by the stupidity and poor excuse of a human being called Jack. Jon found her in his superhero form, she was crouched in an alley, he went up to her and said "What is a beautiful girl like you doing in an alleyway." he asked raising an eyebrow, she looked up at him and said "I had a date but he stood me up, who would want to date me anyways." she sighed. "You are such a pretty and intelligent girl, you are amazing" she sighed, they walked home together, when they reached the Kent farmhouse, Marinette tried to lean in and kiss Jon, he just backed away and thought 'Oh my god, what have I done, my sister likes me??' He sighed and backed away, "Bye" he said awkwardly and left. She just stood there and sighed while thinking 'No one likes me, why would I even think of having a chance with the Superboy, he probably already has a girlfriend.' She sighed again and went inside. Clark and Jon were waiting for her, they knew what happened but wanted to hear it for themselves. "How was the date" Clark asked. "He stood me up, '' Marinette replied disappointed. Clark wanted to strangle the boy and had a hard time keeping his temper and powers in control. Jon was fuming with anger.

A few days later during dinner, Clark asked her "Hey Mari, anyone special now that the idiot from Maths class?" Marinette stared at him and a slight blush came to her cheeks as she replied "I kind of like Superboy, he walked me home on that day, he was so sweet" she replied day dreaming. Clark spit out his water while Jon choked on air, Lois just stared at her and laughed. She just pouted, Lois regained her posture and replied, "I believe your Father and brother have something to tell you?" she raised an eyebrow at them. Clark and Jon sighed and stood up, they tore their civilian clothes apart to reveal their Blue, red and yellow outfits. Marinette gaped in awe and said "OMG, my favourite superheroes are my family." then suddenly she stopped as Clark asked "Still crushing on Superboy?" she froze and went "Eewww" as Jon sighed in relief and laughed along with his family.

_______At dinner in a weeks time________

"So, now who is on your mind." Lois asked with a mischievous grin. Marinette smiled shyly and replied, "Don't judge but I kind of like Red Hood and Robin" Lois and Clark stared at her in disbelief as she carried on "Red Hood, is too old and violent though, I really like Robin, she is kind and sweet under that stoic facade he always wears." Jon's eyed were bulged as he replied with a "No way, you are not going to date my BFF, can you believe it, my sister and my BFF." Clark cut in with "You shall not be dating Batman's son, and you will not date a demon brat, with no manners." Lois just rolled her eyes and smiled fondly "But, Daaaddd, Jonnn, Pleaseeee" Marinette replied with puppy eyes. "Tell them Moommm" she whined. Lois just smiled at her and shook her head.

Clark and Jon "Hmmpphhh'' and pouted while Marinette smiled and did a small victory dance. Clark added "I will meet him and no funny business till we approve, which is never." Marinette rolled her eyes as she knew that they would come around eventually.
