Prologue

Alfred opens the doors to the manor only to be surprised, there he saw her, midnght blue hair and porcelain skin, shy smile and her bluebell eyes, his granddaughter the one and only Marinette Dupain Cheng. Surprised was an understatement, he was beyond shocked, he invited her in, she got her own room, she started to get settled in.

Marinette runs home with new bruises and scars, they will be healed but it still hurts to have this behaviour from her best friends. She passed her mother, she thought they would be out, a delivery, her mother was shocked to see her home so soon, she still had 2 more hours of school left. She batged up the stairs and slammed her trapdoor close, she face planted onto her bed and sobbed her heart out, she passed out from exhaustion, he mother and father confronted her during dinner,

"Sweetie, what's wrong? You can tell us"

she looked up from her plate and burst out crying, her parents stared at her not knowing what to do. They went up to her and gave her a hug, comforted her. She calmed down eventually and said

"Remember that girl Lila, the girl that got me expelled, she came back after a so called world tour with her mom where she met, Prince Ali, Jagged Stone and many more famous people. She came back and threatened me in the bathroom saying that when she was done, I wouldn't have a friend left in the world, she started lying about how I bullied her and was jealous of her fame, and how she was in love with Adrien, everyone except Juleka and Nino trusts her and blames me, they beat me up and scream ta me everyday, I feel worthless."

Her parents stared at her in shock, their thoughts were how someone who seemed so innocent at first could be such a big lying snake. They decided that moment to send her to her grandfather in Gotham, Alfred Pennyworth.
