Eiji got even more flustered, panicking a little. Ash had complimented him ! It sent him onto cloud 9. “You are just as amazing as I remember, Ash.” He looked back at Ash, smiling brightly.

“It has healed well! Only a little bit sore now. Ibe is fine !,” he smiled, not daring to let go of Ash. He ignored the question about how he was doing. He didn’t want Ash to know how depressed Eiji had become. It would only worry Ash.

“Ash... what happened?” He asked, his brows furrowed together in concern. “Did you get hurt...?” He asked, the idea causing more tears to prick his eyes. Deep down, he knew the answer. But he also wanted to be wrong.

They needed to get inside before Eiji’s mom began calling for him again but... right now, it seemed like they were the only things to exist. Ash was the only thing Eiji was focused on.

He smiled, blushing lightly when Eiji had complimented him back. "Well that's amazing, I'm glad you are doing well, you seem happier here then when you was back in America."

Ash he heard Eiji talk he thought for a second and shook his head, placing a hand where his stab wound was.  "Nothing important happened, I'm completely fine.  There's no need for you to worry about me, Eiji"

Moments passed and he picked his bag back up. He held one of Eijis hands and smiled. "Well shall we go? Introduce me to your family, I want to meet everyone"  Like usual Ash was showing his soft side to Eiji, he seemed to be the only person Ash seemed to get along with.

"I doubt anything would happen, but if anyone seems to hurt you here just tell me alright?" As usual Ash seemed to still be protective over Eiji, but you couldn't blame him after everything that happened.

Hearing Ash say that he seemed happier forced a sarcastic chuckle out of Eiji. The only
Reason he was happy was because Ash were there. He’d explain another time.

Another thing Eiji had noticed was Ash’s hand, placed over a spot. It was then that Eiji realized that neither of them were telling the truth. They were hiding the things they thought would worry the other. Eventually, they would talk.

Eiji smiled, leading Ash into his house. Eiji’s mom was setting the table for dinner when she began asking Eiji where he had been. Then she looked surprised. A random foreigner had arrived... although, she’d heard of Ash from Ibe. Seeing their hands intertwined, she smiled warmly.

“Mom, this is Ash.” Eiji smiled as he spoke in Japanese. Eiji’s mom nodded, speaking back to him. Translating, Eiji said, “She says that you are welcome here and she’s happy to meet you.” Eiji was glad his mom was being to accepting already. Soon enough she was pulling out an extra plate and getting out more food for Ash. Eiji lead him to the table, motioning him to sit in the chair next to him.
