Eiji wasn’t sure why Ash had hesitated - or why he dodged the last part of the question. But he wouldn’t push or pry, though wondering why would definitely drive him wild.

“I’m sure you are tired, there’s a huge time difference !” He chirped. Opening his closet, he pulled out a floor lying futon. It didn’t bother his to sleep there, but he didn’t want to assume that Ash would he okay sleeping in the same bed- regardless if they’d done it before. So Eiji set up the futon and got into nightwear, dressed in some baggy shorts and a shirt he’d gotten from Ash during their trip to Cape Cod. They were fond memories of his.

He yawned sleepily as he sat down on the futon, looking up at Ash, who laid on the bed. He smiled softly. It felt right for the two to be together again, it warmed his heart.
“Do you need anything before you go to sleep?” He asked sweetly, half afraid that when he woke up that Ash would be gone.Ash nodded and yawned. "Yeah there is.." he chuckled slightly. "Its nice to spend time with you without someone here trying to kill one of us, don't you think?"  he turned to his side, his eyes looking over at Eiji.

He watched Eiji get the futon out and set it down on the floor, the male frowned at this, wondering why Eiji wanted to sleep on the floor. After all, they had slept in the same bed before so it wouldn't be a problem, right? From this Ash got the impression that Eiji wasn't comfortable sleeping in the same bed as him. He didn't thing too much about it though, everyone had their own reason for everything.

he listened to Eiji talk, a small smile on hid face. That's when he shuffled up a little to make some room on the bed. "Well I don't really need anything. But it's pretty cold, why don't you sleep up here?" he smiled and looked over at him.Eiji’s face lit up red, nodding in agreement that he preferred to be with Ash when they weren’t being killed. It was nicer this way. Like they could really be themselves.

Eiji was surprised Ash had offered for him to sleep in the bed with him, though, happy too. He smiled thankfully before getting into bed with Ash, laughing quietly.

Eiji then got the idea to mess with Ash a bit, smiling with a bit of mischief. “Well ! You said you were cold!” He said before putting the blanket over their heads playfully. It was as if they were in their own personal tent together.

Eiji could hardly see however, but he was snickering nonetheless, having fun with teasing the blonde. He missed this dearly.
