(wake up, dead fnf fandom, i posted another part. this is practically just filler, however, the end is nigh)
Senpai seemed angry. His emotions had switched just as if it were to be a switch at the back of his head. You hadn't known why, but you were sure that you had an unpleasant idea. As the strawberry blonde tugged you along with him, you felt your skin begin to pulsate underneath his harsh fingertips. His nails were almost gnawing at your sensitive layers of skin.
"My plan," he said bluntly as he let go of your arm, "is ruined because of your little friend." There was an edge to his voice, as there always was, but he seemed more agitated than before. Someone else intervening caused his emotions to skyrocket, and not in a good way. "I had an idea to cheer you up. But they came out of nowhere to ruin that plan. Talk about a lack of manners." He scoffed, seemingly angry at your friend who had done no wrong in this situation. He paced back and forth angrily, growling and breathing heavily, "You seemed so happy," his fists clenched along his sides, "granted, it was only for but a moment but you-" a sharp inhale came from him, and for once, he smiled gratefully. "You seemed so happy to be with me."
Your mouth opened, but despite your jaw being slightly ajar, Senpai ignored you and merely started up his ramblings again. "Actually, now that I think about it, have you ever been happy with me?" He whipped around to face you, eyebrows furrowed together tightly. You could see his blue eyes visibly flare up at your lack of a response, but you couldn't respond even if you wanted to. "Oh, don't look at me like that! I've noticed the way you act around me. All the flinches and the soft words - you're not fooling anybody! You're absolutely fucking terrified of me." Instead of realising his faults, Senpai suddenly grabbed your upper arms with his hands and clenched tightly, tugging you forwards to face him head-on.
"Senpai! Let me go, you're going to hurt me-!" You suddenly yelled, taking action and wriggling against his grip with grit teeth and a snarl. He didn't answer, but instead held onto you tighter while he bowed his head down, shoulders slumped and hunched over. You could only see his messy head of hair obscuring your vision from seeing anything else. He wasn't letting you go.
With shaky breaths, his babbling began up once more, this time with more emotion and a tinge of sadness in his voice. "I love you," he started, "goddammit, I love you. Why can't you see that? Everything that I've ever done has been to make you happy an- and I know, I know I've acted irrationally but nobody has ever rejected me the way you have. You were there, you stayed with me and talked to me, and now you're-" he lifted his head and stared into your eyes. His eyes were glossy and shone over with what seemed to be tears; you knew you shouldn't have felt bad but the expression on his face just tugged on your heartstrings. "You're treating me like I'm nothing."
You choked back on the spit that lodged itself in your throat, "Senpai, I... That's not how this works, you hurt me, you've made my life absolutely miserable," his expression just got evidently worse, his lips quivering as his jaw trembled. He was like a rejected child, he looked so goddamn sad and, for once, you did not feel a sense of anger behind his expression. "You can't force someone to love you, or- or care about you." What were you supposed to say in this situation? With each word you spoke, his grip on your shoulders only tightened.
"Please, just listen to me-" He started, tugging you harshly which awakened some deep-seated anger you harboured within you. You've been letting him push you around and treat you as if you were nothing, and he knew that. Or maybe he was just trying his best to love you, you didn't know, the signs were confusing and you just wanted to leave.
"No," you hissed through clenched teeth. "You are delusional, Senpai. With all the things we've done, how you called yourself my husband even though we aren't even together-" you struggled against his hands but he only held onto you even tighter, pain blistering underneath your skin. He was leaving bruises on you once again. Just like how he always does whenever he loses his bearings. "Let me go, Senpai." You seethed.
But he shook his head in response. "Please don't do this," he whimpered, "stop resisting me. We can be happy together." Your options were scarce. You could scream for help, or watch him as he throws this temper tantrum. The thought of calling for someone was inviting, calming, almost, but the fear plummeting in your gut screamed at you to stay quiet and allow him to do this. Was he attempting to manipulate you, or was he genuinely feeling this way about you?
Despite your efforts, Senpai quickly started speaking before you could just as much as inhale. "You... you don't want to cause a scene, do you?" Oh, now he was using manipulation. You were surprised that nobody had tried to intervene and ask what the fuck was his problem. You were sick of this. "Don't look at me like that," he exhaled sharply with a sudden change of expression, "I'm trying to act civil, whilst you are ignoring my attempts every chance you get." He squeezed your arms tightly, so tight that you felt a whimper bubble up your throat and flood out of your mouth like a kicked puppy.
If one thing halted Senpai's actions, it was that.
His facial expression dropped so suddenly, his grip loosening until his hands weren't even touching you anymore.
"You may have forgotten," your voice was shaky, "but the toxicity you have spread to other people- to- to me will forever remain." You felt nervous at this point, you didn't know what he was going to do. "The trauma that you've passed to people who never did anything wrong, will always harm them. How... how can you live with yourself when you know that?" You didn't know what to do, and, for once this entire conversation, this burning, angry conversation, your eyes began to burn with tears. They did not come, but you wanted them to.
You just wanted this to end already. Are you overreacting?
For a moment, all but a fleeting moment, Senpai's facial expression seemed to look completely distraught, horror stretching across his face as if you had, by some miracle of God, gotten through to him. However, it seemed that his delusions had twisted his mind to the point where he could no longer see the truth, as terrifying as the thought was to you. Senpai sighed, once, twice, three times-before it was soon replaced with a snicker, followed by a sharp inhale which left a sour taste in your mouth. "You really are delusional." You hissed through your teeth, jaw tight.
Gentle, he was being gentle now, as he wrapped his arms around you like a caring boyfriend, like someone you could trust. "You're tired," he began, but you knew he was just shitty at manipulation. "Let's just go home. You got clothing, and food, you must be worn out. It's been so long since you have gone outside, I-" he paused, and you could feel him tremble as he forced you forwards. Just like he forced his way into your life. "I love you, darling."
"Remember when you first started playing my game and you thought I was adorable?" He sounded so sweet. Like those types of parents who pretend to be nice, only to beat their children over a bad grade. "I remember looking through all your emails and social media accounts. See, that's not so bad, is it? I'd rather you not fight with me..." Senpai chided; as if scolding you like a child. His fingers left a lingering static on the fabrics of your clothing; you wanted to tear it apart.
You were so foolish at the beginning of this. Stupid and even delusional in your own right, but who would believe that a video game character would come to life? Sure, it's happened in fiction and you have played games that follow that sort of rhythm. You already thought about this, didn't you? God, your brain was melting in your skull as it rattled inside like the beads of a baby's toy. You felt like a baby. Fine, it's fine. He wins. He was right. You're tired. Senpai didn't even do anything and you're tired.
"Is there a way to go back to your game?" It was a rhetorical question.
But it was worth a shot.
