Chapter 15- Reunited

Lexi's P.O.V

I woke up and I felt pressure on me, like I can't breath. I open my eyes and Carlos is laying on top of me sleeping and the rest of my brothers are asleep around us.

I gently push Carlos off me while trying not to make a sound. After 20 minutes I carefully left the room without waking up anybody.

I went to Adriana's room and she was still sleeping, so I woke her up and brought her to the kitchen. I decided to give Mary the morning off and make breakfast myself

I was cooking bacon when I see a hand touching my shoulder making me scream and I heard everyone run into the kitchen just to see me by myself in the kitchen.

"Are you ok?" Carlos asked
"Why did you scream?" Dante asked
"Is Adriana Ok?" Faith asked

"Ummm. I saw someone's hand touching my shoulder" I said confused as to where they went

"Lexi. No one is here. Are you ok?" Luca asked and I nodded yes

"I will finish making breakfast, go sit down for a while" Antonio said and I left to the living room with Carlos

We sat in silence until Carlos spoke first.

"Are you sure you saw someone's hand" he asked.

"Yes. I did" I said confidently

"Ok. Let's look at the cameras" Carlos said and I nodded

We walked to Diego's office for the first time since his death. It was quiet

Carlos sat in the chair and pulled up the video

We were looking at the video when all of a sudden we saw someone standing behind me watching me and Adriana until they touched my shoulder and ran. We tried to follow them with the security cameras, but they hid in all the blind spots.

"Woah. That's creepy. He was so close to Adriana" I said and Carlos nodded

"I will upgrade the security system and install cameras in all of the blind spots" Carlos said and I nodded

"Ok. I forgot to say it, but good morning" I said and kissed him which made him smile

"Good morning girlfriend" carlos said and kissed me

"Gross. Get a room" Faith said as she walked in the office

"Why are you here?" Carlos asked annoyed

"Antonio told me to come get you since Adriana is crying and breakfast is ready" faith said and I got up quickly and walked to the kitchen just to see Adriana crying in her high chair.

I quickly picked her up and started bouncing her around the kitchen. She still hasn't stopped crying. I felt her forehead and it was burning.

"Carlos. She has a fever" I said and Carlos immediately got up and called her doctor

Dante brought me a wet rag to put on her forehead to cool her down and it slightly worked. She is now asleep.

"I made an appointment today at 3 with her doctor at the warehouse" Carlos said and I nodded

I sat down next to Carlos and passed him a sleeping Adriana while I ate.

"What should we do today?" Luca asked and I shrugged

"What if we go get ice cream and then the park after Adriana's appointment" faith said and I nodded

"That works. Ok we can meet at the ice cream shop at 3:30 until then feel free to explore the house. If the door is locked don't go in. I MEAN IT" I said and they all nodded and left the kitchen leaving me and Carlos in the kitchen.
