Lexis P.O.V- A Week Later
Last week my brothers came and we spent the whole week together grieving the loss of our father. Even though he disowned me, I still remember the good times we had.
I still haven't forgiven my brothers we are just on neutral terms, we are better than before
They left Saturday night, they had to plan their father's funeral. I personally won't be attending, just because I can't be bothered to I'm busy.
Today is Monday or as I would like to call it the day I get answers from Marco... I know a little wordy but it's alright.
Carlos is letting me take the lead in the torture since he has to fly out to Italy to sign the treaty between our mafia and my brothers.
"Ok. I'm leaving, ill be back on Friday." Carlos said and I nodded
"Be safe. Don't talk to strangers" I said and Carlos laughed
"Lexi. I am almost 20 years old, I think I can handle strangers" he said which made me laugh
"ok. leave before the jet leaves without you," I said and he just nodded
he hugged me goodbye and Adriana walked over to us
"up up Lee" Adriana said and I picked her up and she immediately hugged me
Adriana has been talking more the past week. She calls me Lee and she says car instead of Carlos
"hello baby" I said as I kissed her cheek and she kissed mine
"goodbye princess. I love you" Carlos said as he kissed her forehead
"Luv you Car" Adriana said and hugged Carlos which made me involuntary smile
"Be safe when you are interrogating Marco. Don't let him get to you" Carlos said and I just shrugged
"Everything he says I take with a grain of salt, plus he will be screaming more than talking by the time I'm done with him," I said
I wish I could stay here with you while you torture him. You know what I'm going to cancel my meeting with your brothers" Carlos said as he pulled out his phone but I stopped him
"You are going to go. End of discussion. I don't need you here. I have Amanda who will be with me the whole time. So don't worry about me. Go and sign the treaty" I said and he sighed
"Fine, but if anything happens you call me okay," Carlos said and I nodded
"Yes now leave. I want to go and talk with Amanda before we start" I said and he nodded and left
"Bye Lexi. I love you. See you in a few days" Carlos said as he was walking towards the door
"I love you too," I Said and he left
"Let's go find Amanda," I said to Adriana who started talking gibberish
We walked over to the living room but it was empty so we went to the kitchen and saw Amanda eating a sandwich
"Hey manny," I said and she rolls her eyes
"Why do You keep calling me that," Amanda asked
"Because Amanda is boring and manny is interesting. Anyway I want to talk about Marco" I said as I put Adriana on the floor so she could walk around
"I want you to be in the room with me and Marco in case I go crazy, I need someone to pull me back. Before you say yes, you should know that it can get pretty gross and loud. So what do you say?" I asked and she nodded
