Chapter 19- Fight

Lexi's P.O.V

"Lied about what?" Carlos asked

"Alot of things, but the main one is that After making sure you were okay I left and went to the warehouse. William confirmed the bullet was from the Italian mafia like you said."

" I know we said we would take a step back from the mafia for a while, but I couldn't. You got shot and I went crazy, but it paid off."

"I asked our hackers to give me all the information about Marcos whereabouts the past weeks. Apparently he met with the German mafia leader and a real estate agent specializing in commercial properties" I said and Carlos nodded for me to continue

"Well I kind of kidnapped them and tortured them for information and now right now they are in the hotel basement close to death" I said quickly and Carlos groaned

"Lexi. Do you know what you have done" he asked and I nodded

"Yeah" I said quietly

"I don't think you do. Lexi you kidnapped the German mafia leader. A MAFIA LEADER FOR FUCK SAKES" he screamed at me which made me flinch slightly

I thought I got over flinching.....great

He noticed and his face softened and he tried to come closer but I moved back.

"Lexi....I'm" he said but I stopped him

"Don't. I did this for you and you are getting mad AT ME"

"Everything I did was because of you GETTING SHOT and you are not even grateful "

"That's not what I mean and you know it" Carlos said

"Do I?" I asked and he nodded

"Well then. I'm sorry that I actually want to find out who shot you and make them pay" I said

I got up and left the room but before I left I turned around

"I'm sleeping in my room. ALONE tonight" I said and Carlos nodded and I left

I went upstairs and went to Adriana's room where she was sleeping

"Sleep well princess. I love you. Carlos and I are fighting right now, but we will get over it...hopefully soon" I said and kissed her forehead and left her room

I entered my room for the first time in weeks. I usually sleep with Carlos in his room so all my clothes and everything is in that room

Oh well. I looked around the room and found a random old shirts and changed into it. It smelled like Carlos

I tried to fall asleep but I couldn't, i got up went to the bathroom and took melatonin.

I was tempted to go to Carlos room but I'm not going to give in first

I got into bed and closed my eyes. As I was falling asleep I felt my bed slightly dip and someone get in.

I felt a arm hug my waist and a voice whispering "I'm sorry" in my ear and I fell asleep

The next morning

I woke up and I saw a arm around my waist. I turned around and saw Carlos in my bed

I automatically pushed him off the bed and he immediately groaned

"WHAT THE HELL" I screamed

"Why are you in my bed? I said I was going to sleep alone" I said

"Well I thought you were kidding and we should never go to bed angry. Plus it didn't feel right sleeping without you next to me" Carlos said and I rolled my eyes

"Don't sweet talk me. I need space Carlos. You yelled at me for something I did for us" I said and he sighed

"Lexi. What you did was incredibly stupid and could possibly start a war between us and the Germans" Carlos said as he tucked a piece of hair behind my ear

"You didn't even let me finish what I was saying last night. It's whatever you will just wait and see. The German Mafia is in an alliance with the Italian mafia" I said and he nodded

"Enough work talk. I'm sorry I yelled at you, but it was within reason" Carlos said and kissed my forehead

"your forgiven. It's ok. I'm sorry for lying to you about what I did yesterday" I said and he nodded

"You are also forgiven. Now let's go take wake up Adriana" Carlos said and he got up but I stopped him

"Wait. Where did faith go" I asked

"She went back to Italy last night. Apparently they were curious and asking questions about the mission she was on so she left before they got more suspicious. She said she will come back in a week or 2" Carlos said and I nodded

"Ok. Let's go then" I said as I also got up and we went to Adriana's room.

"Good morning" I said as I kissed all over her face to wake her up and she woke up giggling

"hello princess" Carlos said as he picked her up and brought her to the bathroom so she could take a bath

"Time to get squeaky clean" I said as Carlos placed her in the bathtub

We were giving Adriana a bath when we heard barking coming from the door, so Carlos went to open it and a puppy came in.

"When did she get back" I asked Carlos

"Apparently right now. The day he arrived she was taken to go get trained in mafia and basic commands so now he knows how to protect and how to high five. He doesn't have a name yet" Carlos said and I picked up the puppy and placed her in the tub with Adriana

"What do you want to name the puppy Adriana" I asked her and she said things we couldn't understand

"Ok. We will make the executive decision and call him max."
"Are you ok with that name" I asked and Carlos and Adriana nodded and max barked.

"Ok then. Welcome to the Smirnov family max. You will be spoiled and pampered very well" I said as I petted him and he barked

We finished bathing Adriana and walked downstairs to have breakfast and we decided to eat pancakes and the workers made max some dog pancakes

Apparently he now has a chair at the table, which is completely fine with me and I will get Carlos on board soon enough

"Hey. We have to go see them" I said and he nodded and got up.

We got dressed and headed towards the hotel. We went straight to the basement and saw both men in their rooms barely breathing.

"Wake up" Carlos said as he shook Weber

And Weber shot up and looked at Carlos and started smirking

"You look well. Now that everyone is here I have some things to say" Weber said
