Walker's POV

After we were done shooting, I couldn't help myself but to think of what I said earlier.

Why did I say we were the perfect couple? I mean our characters are a perfect couple I guess. That's obviously what I meant. Yeah...

"Walker, dude you ok?" Aidan asked, snapping me out of my thoughts.

"Oh yeah, sorry, just thinking." I said back. Just then Ella's phone rang.

"I'll be right back, I gotta take this." She said getting up from her seat and walking over to an empty area.

"So like Walker and Ella huh." Aidan said once she was gone.

What is he talking about?

"I know right." Hayley said back, widening her eyes a bit in excitement.

"Are you two like a thing or something?" She asked me.

"Uh no, we're not." I answered back, shifting uncomfortably in my seat.

"Aw, well do you at least like her, I bet you she likes you" Hayley continued. I could've bursted out laughing right then, but I didn't.

"Nope, we're just friends, I guess" I said awkwardly. This is a little too much now. "I think I'm gonna head home, I'm little tired, and I need to rehearse my lines for the next episode." I said making up an excuse.

"Uh ok." Alex said suspiciously.

As I got up and started walking out, I passed by Ella, she looked like something was bothering her, but I'm not gonna bother her right now. I gave a small smile and waved to her, when she looked at me, she waved back as she was talking on the phone.

There's no possible way I could like her is there?

"So there's no way you can save him?" Ella asked the person she was talking to on her phone. She sounded heartbroken, her bottom lip quivering. I stopped and watched her after that. Completely ignoring how I just said I wasn't going to bother her less than a minute ago.

"Well, thank you anyway, oh and keep me updated if anything happens... bye." She finished, hanging up. She caught my eyes a few seconds later.

"What are you looking at?" She snapped, as if she was hiding tears.

"Are you okay? Who was that?" I asked completely ignoring her question. She hesitated for a moment before responding.

"Well if I told you it's not like you would care." She snapped again, brushing past me. I turned around and watched all the way to the parking lot.

There's something seriously wrong with me. I mean calling her hot, calling us the perfect couple, asking if she's okay. And now watching her leave? If someone saw me do all this and didn't know any better, they'd definitely think I have a major crush on her. I need therapeutic help.

Before she left she said one last thing, "Look who got the last word this time, pretty boy." She said before turning back around.

Did she just call me pretty boy?

Ella's POV

Does he really think we're the perfect couple? 2 people who hate each other more than anything. I don't find anything very couple-y about that.

I then shifted my gaze on Walker. He looked zoned out, like he was deep in thought. Could we really be more? We aren't even friends yet.

"So how was filming for you? Didn't you guys do a skateboard scene?" Hayley asked disrupting my train of thought.

"It was good, we had to hold hands a few times though." I answered. A small light of suspicion grew in her eyes.

"Oh ok." She replied giggling a bit.

Aiden turned to Walker, who looked like he was figuring something out in his head.

"Walker, dude you ok?" Aiden asked.

"Oh yeah, sorry, just thinking." He explained. Thanks for clearing that up, Captain Obvious.

A few seconds later my phone rang. It was my dad. A smile grew on my face when I saw his name on my phone. I haven't seen him in a while since he lives in Mexico.

"I'll be right back, I gotta take this." I said getting up and walking over to an empty area.

"Hello?" I started.

"It's Grandpa." My dad replied in a shaky voice.

"What about him?" I answered, furrowing my brows.

"He just got diagnosed with... lung cancer." My dad explained.

"What!? I thought he never smoked." I fired back, not wanting to be believe him.

"There's more than one way sweetheart." He answered with a soft sigh.

"The doctor's don't think he'll survive." He added on after a short pause. Tears started to form in the corners of my eyes.

"So there's no way you can save him?" I asked trying to stay strong. My Grandpa is like my best friend, I don't think I can handle losing him.

"Not as of right now."

"Well, thank you anyway, oh and keep me updated if anything happens... bye." I finished, hanging up. I looked up and saw the one person I didn't want to see.

"What are you looking at?" I snapped, not in the mood to talk to him.

""Are you okay? Who was that?" He asked, his face beaming with worry and concern. It was kinda nice that he cared. Well if he cared. There's no point in letting my guard down just to be made fun of.

"Well if I told you it's not like you would care." I snapped once again, finally getting the last word. And to top it all off I even got the last word.

Before finally leaving I just had to say one last stupid thing,

"Look who got the last word this time, pretty boy." I said immediately regretting I had. Excuse me I'm gonna go die in a hole now.

As soon as I got in the car I got a text from Alex. She asked me if I wanted to come over the next day so I said yes as I didn't have any plans.
