Faith's P.O.V.***

"Maple give me my teddy bear!" Trinity demands angrily . Yeah, this is how I wake up every morning basically.

"Maple can you please give Trinity her teddy bear!" I yell slightly annoyed at the two bickering back and forth.

"You have to beg." Maple taunts Trinity as she holds the teddy bear above her head. Trinity has a special way of getting things to go her way. That's right. Crying. Her eyes started to water as I started to feel a slight tug in my chest. I sighed getting up and snatching the teddy bear out of Maple's hand, having slight advantages from being taller and older then them both. I live in this foster home... so someone's got to keep these girls from biting each others faces off.

"What did you do that for Faith!" Maple sniggered at me. I just smiled and walked off to the small bathroom bringing along my clothes. As soon as I walked into the bathroom I started the shower so that by the time I get into it it would at least be warm. The foster home was a beat down building, but it was the best form of a shelter we could get, but the unconditional love and fact that we stayed warm was all we needed to be happy. By the time I checked the water it was ready. I rid myself of my dirty night clothes and walked into the shower with the warm water jets massaging my tensed back.

As soon as I got out the shower I dried myself and put on my clothes. I grabbed my makeup and did it to hide the bruises that were luckily starting to fade from the last time I encountered them. I wore a long sleeved shirt to hide the first cut on my arms that I caused myself. I swore to myself I wouldn't  cause myself that pain... but life tempted me. I salty tear escaped my eyes and fell on my arms as I quickly wiped it off, causing my long curly hair to cascade down past my shoulders.

"Faith" Ms. Carson yelled from downstairs breaking me out of my little moment as I cleaned myself up.

"Breakfast is ready sweetie!" Ms. Carson was such a sweet lady and caregiver. She gives us so much love and anything she can afford. She was the one who actually bought me my first phone, but she said it was only for emergency phone calls at the time... not like I really had anyone to talk to other than her and my best friend Lauren.

"I'm on my way Ms. Carson!" I sighed and ran downstairs to be greeted by ten other little girls. I'm the oldest out of all of them. I sat down eating the lovely breakfast that consisted of eggs, bacon, and toast with a bit of jelly. I then pulled out my phone hearing the familiar tone play as the girls around me continued to chat. I was receiving a call from Lauren.

"Hey Lauren." I said friendly as a smile came to my face.

"Hey Faith." She said weakly. I was beginning to get worried as I hear her cough roughly.

"What's wrong." I asked full of wary.

"I... I caught the flu." She said sniffling through the phone.

"Your telling me I have to go to school... by myself." I said mentally panicking, I will not make it through the day unless a miracle happens, which it never does in my cases.

"I'm sorry Faith. But I am sick I can't control it. Just avoid him." She said with a tint of annoyance.

"Ok. Ok. Thanks I will, I'm sorry you know how I get sometimes. Get better Lauren." I let out a huge breath as I hung up after Lauren said her bye.

"Anything wrong sweety." I sighed as Ms. Carson stared curiously at me with worry.

"Just fine." I say giving her my fake smile before grabbing my bag. Off to school. "Bye Ms. Carson bye girls have fun at school. Gotta go." I left the door hearing an uproar of goodbyes come from all the girls, including Ms. Carson's faint voice over the others before I grabbed my keys and shut the door.
