''UH, MILO, WHAT DO YOU THINK YOU'RE DOING?'' Audrey was all for saving her best friend, but she didn't know what help climbing a giant stone fish would do.

''Just follow my lead,'' Milo said, waving her off with the stroke of his hand. Taking his crystal, he placed his hand on the pad, twisting it into a hole to watch it heat up blue, just like it had done with Kida and (Name).

The engine revved and the fish's intricate line art flowed with blue light, charging it up until it began to float above ground. ''Wow,'' Packard muttered, taking her cigarette away from her mouth in one, long drag. ''I'm impressed.'' All around him, hands flew up, trying to catch Milo's attention.

''It's simple, all you gotta do-''

''Yeah, yeah, we get it, move over,'' Audrey said, not having the patience to listen to his ramblings when her friend was still in danger. Against Milo's protests, she pressed her hand against the pad and they both zoomed straight backwards at a speed Audrey didn't even think possible. They crashed into a rock.

''Gently. Just - gently,'' Milo said, glaring down at Audrey as they both rubbed their heads.

''Hey, Milo! Got something sporty?'' Vinny yelled up at him before moving his hands to create a small distance in between them. ''You know, like a Tuna?''

''How is this done?'' An Atlantean asked, looking up at him.

''It's simple, all you gotta do is use the crystals. Kida showed me.'' Milo moved over to an inanimate bull-shark. This one he'd ride, he remembered how excited (Name) got at spotting one back on the submarine. Jumping into the seat, he turned to give them a demonstration. ''Half-turn right, quarter-turn back. Keep your hand on the pad.''

''Saddle up partners, bring jerky and ammo!'' Cookie yelled as he mounted his own, people doing the same all around him as rocks began to light up and fly.

''All right, this is it. We're gonna rescue (Name)! We're gonna rescue the crystal! We're gonna save Atlantis! Or we're going to die trying. Let's do it!''

A rope was pulled and a cannon fired, it's snout facing upwards, the fire propelling the bomb upwards at astonishing speeds, until it finally hit the roof of the volcano, where layers of ash had built up to seal them inside. Vinny would've called it a work of art, unfortunately, though, we was no longer on the Commander's side and now considered it cheating. Boulders and rocks, some the size of pre-adolescent elephants, came raining down, creating a rocky terrain that they were forced to clear before they could proceed any further.

''I love it when I win,'' Rourke smirked, staring up at the bright light that would reward him with the upper-world as well as it's argumentative countries that craved to have this much power. Oh, he was going to be rich.

A wagon wheeled forwards, and whilst it's wheels were squeaky and the driver incompetent, once her had left the driver's seat and pulled a lever, the sight was magnificent. A cloud of red poured out of the barrel-shaped container, floating high into the air to reveal their escape.

The very bottom of it, a few meters below the basket, was (Name).Still blue and as illuminescent as ever, she was tied and hooked onto the balloon, held by an impressively thick metal chain. As the balloon lifted her container into the air, Rourke scooped his hands underneath to help lift it over a stubborn rock. Doing so, revealed the hundred of flying metallic fish, each with bright blue eyes, and riders that were out for him.

''There they are!'' Milo's voice could be heard in the distance.

Rourke snarled, looking over his shoulder to begin his chain of demands, his voice louder and more powerful than Milo's ever was, ''We've got company!''

Turning around, he hastily began to ascend some stairs, the basket waiting for him. Arrows and bullets danced around him, one or two scraping his forearms or calves, but it wasn't nearly enough to make him hesitate or second-guess what he was doing.

A fish was hit with a larger gun, and an explosion happened above their head before the vehicle came flying out the smoke, descending rapidly and sending shocks of blue lightning everywhere it could, sporadically helping it's fellow riders, but also proving to be another obstacle for them to avoid until it landed as safely as it could, out of their way.

Men mounted small planes where they could, joining the enemy in the sky to fire bullets more efficiently. ''Take her up!'' Rourke demanded, stood on a metal pole that circled around the balloon's exterior, clinging onto a rope as he leaned forwards to enjoy the chaos around him.

''Holy smokes!'' Milo yelled, turning his shark upside down to avoid one of those planes that had scooped low enough to drive right into him. ''You told me he only had guns!''

''What I said was that he's never surprised!'' Audrey yelled back, not fully focusing on answering him, her eyes scanning frantically for her friend.

Vinny ducked to avoid the consequences of someone manning an automatic weapon, his palm landing on the pad to try and keep him steady, instead, just like the out of condition fish, it shot sparks of lightning out of his mouth. Only this time, it was under their control and took out a whole wagon of armed vehicles. Vinny grinned at the rider next to him before looking back at his palm. ''Okay, now things are getting good.''
