another another update

Y'all gonna hate me for this but I'm starting to question the legitimacy of setting my story in the modern days. I have 2 eras, either late 1950s-early 1960s, or modern days. I decided on modern days but it's getting kinda hard to write stories. I wanted to write some about the rivalry between diesels and steamies, but using a throwback all the time really can't do everything, so I'm thinking about resetting it back to the 1950s. I dunno let me know.
