Roy walked into the bar. Desperately searching for his best friend. He walked up to the bar.

"Hey sorry. Have you seen a guy with brown hair with a white streak in it? He is built like a fucking tank. The bartender pointed at a booth in the back corner of the bar and Roy quickly walked over. "Jason? That you man?" The man was lying face down with his head on the table. He groaned in response.

"Rooy?" Roy breathed out. He was alive.

"You okay, Kori called me and told me to go find you. What has happened?" Jason looked up, raising a brow. Jason could now see that he was shitfaced drunk.

"Kori. Why did she call you?" Jason tried to get his head off the table but it seemed like an impossible task.

"She was worried. And kinda pissed at you. She wouldn't say what had happened but wanted me to make sure you were ok. So are you?" Jason let his head down on the table again. Staying silent a moment before finally answering.

"I messed up Roy. I messed up big time. And I don't know what to do." Jasons sounded utterly hopeless. Roy thought he was at the edge of tears and that was unusual for the man.

"Come on, let's get you home. I have my car outside." Roy helped Jason up and out of the bar. Then steadied him as he threw up at the side of the road before getting in the car. Roy drove Jason to his nearest safe house and finely, half an hour later he had gotten him up the stairs and into his bed. Roy breathed out. Jason was not a light man.

"Roy." The red head looked at his best friend who was now lying in bed. He was looking up into the ceiling and tears were silently rolling down his face. "I don't think the family will forgive me for this. Not this time. I finally did It, I fucked up so bad not even Dickhead will want to have anything to do with me." Jason put a hand over his face as he let out a sob. Roy was choked and confused. Jason had done some pretty messed up shit and the bat family always took him back in. What had he done that would make him think they wouldn't? Roy sat down on the side of the bed and put a hand on Jason's shoulder.

"Jay, what happened?" It took a little while but Jason finely composed himself enough to sit up against the wall connected to his bed. He looked down into his lap.

"I..." Jason broke into tears again. He couldn't even say it.

"You what, Jay? Jason tried to hold back his tears but they betrayed him. Falling down on the fabric of the bed.

"I marked him... I've ruined his life Roy. And I..." Roy started to get worried. Jay had marked someone. Who?

"Jay. Who? Who did you mark?" Jason looked up and met the worried eyes of his friend before hiding his face in his knees again.

"Damian." It went quiet. Roy didn't know what to say. "He must hate me. And the thought of that kills me. I nearly went insane when Dick came and took him away. I...I feel like I'm going mad Roy." Jason whispered as another couple of whimpers escaped him. Roy just sat there, a hand on his best friend's shoulder. Of course Jason was going crazy. He just marked his mate and then he was separated from them. Everyone knows that's not good. It affects both mates negatively. And it seems like it was affecting Jason extremely hard. The mate bond was hard to explain. When two people mate and mark each other they create a connection. They are bound together forever. The bond was stronger than anything and they couldn't be too far away from each other for long. Jason was clearly affected from being separated from Damian, Roy could only wonder how Damian was doing since these things normally affect omegas worse than Alphas.

"Come on Jay, let's get you some sleep." Jason didn't resist much as Roy helped him off with his clothes and under the blanket. And fifteen minutes later he had cried himself to sleep. Roy was watching his younger friend when his phone rang. It was Kori. He picked up.
