Jungkook's pov,

I walked fast out of the corridor, but once I  turned the corner and was just going to open the door of our practice room, the first period bell rang. I slammed the door behind me.  Breathing wildly.

"Now you are here!" —I heard disappointment bleeding out of Namjoon's voice.

Saw two of my bandmates already had their backpacks on. Ready to attend the first class.

I laughed nervously, "Sorry. I slept."

"It's ok." —Namjoon wiped his glasses with the hem of his baby blue shirt, blew the extra dirt out and put them back on, "We can adjourn the practice to 4 o'clock in the afternoon."

"Yeah." I sighed a heavy breath. What else could we do? It was all my fault. Should have put that damn alarm on.

"Now hurry up before Mr Bang, hang us for being late." —he hurried and vanished before I could say 'wait up'.

God, my life was a fucking joke. Now I have to run again to the South.

"You're looking tired baby." —Jennie held my arm couple-style when I was about to walk past the same corner I crossed a moment ago.

"I told you not to call me by names." Bending my body like a fish, I subtly untangled her fingers from the sleeve of my denim jacket.

"You know that," —She stretched her lips in a cute gesture. Her cheeks resembled her red dress. "Baby suits you better, honey."

Again! I just couldn't understand girls.

I halted only to give her a look. "Are you done bullshitting? Then come fast. We're already late for the class."

"I am coming. Baby." —Jennie's tone was breathy, mischievous, something that I should worry about. I could feel she was too eager to stir the conversation to somewhere else. Wondered whether she was doing this on purpose to tease me or seriously hitting on me!

Turning the last corner, I saw her best friend Lisa, waiting for her. Black t-shirt, baggy jeans and a huge canvas that was touching her armpit. The face under her big round glasses was pretty innocent. She Waved her long fingers and mouthed a 'Hi'. And the moment Jennie's eyes left mine and halted over Lisa, I cut myself out of there. Didn't want to give any wrong impression to locals as I knew how overrated college gossip was.

Namjoon's long legs were on fire today. He'd almost reached the classroom.  "Hey," I tapped on his shoulder from behind,  "I know you're mad. So sorry for making you wait."

Namjoon spun at me, going to say something but stopped when he heard  his step brother. Folding arms over chest, resting his lower back beside the classroom door, he was glaring at Namjoon.

"What took you so long?" —In all black attire,  Seokjin was looking so devilishly handsome.

"Do I need to explain to you?" —Namjoon tried to go inside, but Seokjin stepped in front of him, blocking his way.

"What's your problem jin?" —Namjoon let out a low groan, frowning at him.

Seokjin muffled a snort— "You are my problem, Namjoon."

"Why do you always pick on me? Is there something written on my face?" —Namjoon pointed at himself.

"Yeah." —Seokjin bent forward to get a better view of his face, smirked villainously. "It is written, LOSER."

"What the heck!" I couldn't help jumping into their brotherly conversation. "Just move from here and let us go."

Seokjin finally averted his eyes at me— "Am I stopping you from going inside? You are free to go everywhere darling." And again back to starring Namjoon.
