Imagine- you were nervous to come out to your family, aka the avengers, but it goes a lot better then you thought.

"Ok, it's going to be fine. They will except you. You know they will," you try to talk yourself up.

You were currently pacing around your room trying to get the courage to come out to your family who also happen to be the avengers.

"You can do this, Y/n. I believe in you," your friend, Peter, was there as well.

"I know. I just, it's still nerve wracking to come out even though I know they'll accept me," you admitted.

"Ok so, run it over with me again. And stop pacing your making me nervous," Peter pulled you down beside him on the bed.

"Alright fine. According to Friday they're all going to be in the living room. So I'm going to go down there in about ten minutes and I'm going to ask them if I can tell them something. They'll agree and say I can tell them anything. I'll take a few deep breaths while all their attention is on me. Then I'll say 'I am a lesbian' and hopefully," Peter cuts you off.

"And they will."

"And they will except me," you correct.

"Yes. Exactly. Now it's time so, you can do it. They'll love you no matter what," he reassures you one last time.

"Ms. L/n. All the avengers are ready for you," Friday announces.

You take a deep breath and go downstairs. Everyone was there, talking to each other, the tv was on and everything was normal.

"Hey guys?" You ask timidly.

All the attention came to you. You took a deep breath, your nerves showing.

"What's wrong, N/n?" Wanda asked, concerned for you.

"I just need to tell you guys something," you said, fidgeting with your sleeves.

"Of course."

"Anything."

"We're always here for you."

"You can tell us anything."

Voices said in agreement. You took another few deep breaths. 'Alright. Like Pete said. You can do this. They will accept you'. You thought.

"I just wanted to tell you that I don't like boys or men in any way. I like girl and women and a an a Lesbian," you declared, sucking your breath in and looking at your feet.

"That's great, Y/n."

"I'm glad you feel safe enough to tell us."

"You love who you love."

"Does that mean I can finally take you on a date?"

You smiled at their reactions and chuckled at Natasha's remark.

"You guys accept me?" You asked, just making sure.

"Of course kid. We honestly don't care who you love and half of us are either Pan, Bi or gay anyway," Tony said, getting up and hugging you.

You wrapped your arms around him as well, hugging him back.

"Back to my question, will you go on a date with me?" Nat asked again.

You pulled away and looked at her, grinning.

"Yes Nat. I will go on a date with you," you replied.

She smirked.

"I knew I would get you to come on a date with me one day. Saturday night at 7. Be ready, I'm picking you up," she declared before walking off.

You shrugged and looked back to the others.

"Well, other then that, we're happy for you. Truly," Wanda said, holding Visions hand.

"Thank you guys. I already knew you would accept me but I was still nervous," you admitted.

"We all were, trust us. When we came out we knew the team would accept us and whatnot but it was still nerve racking," Bucky agreed.

"Well, I'm going to go back upstairs. Love you all," you called.

"Love you too, Y/n," they all called back.

You went to the elevator and took it to your floor. You opened the door to see Peter bouncing his leg nervously on your bed. He spotted you and grinned.

"Did you do it?" He asked.

You nodded, smiling brightly. He grinned just as big as you and picked you up in a hug, swinging you around.

"See, I knew you could do it," he put you back down while you both were smiling like idiots.

"Yeah. And that's not the only thing. I have a date with Natasha this Saturday," you stated proudly.

As if his smile could get bigger, it some how did.

"That's great, Y/n. Your going to have so much fun," he agreed.

"Thanks Pete. For all the support. It feels so much better to be out and I couldn't do it without your help," you said, leaning against his shoulder.

"I know you couldn't and that's why I'm here. You know you couldn't survive without me," he replied smugly.

You just chuckled, happy to finally be out of the closet.
