No one knew what happen but the tension between Sirius Black and Marlene McKinnon was clear to everyone

James knew they were alone in the common room together thanks to the map but he didn't know what happened

Marlene felt her heart beating a thousand times faster when they looked at each other or even walked by each other

Sirius on the other hand didn't know what was happening to him he didn't do feelings and touchy stuff , he was a player he was one and done that's how he worked

It was November the 2nd and the school mostly Gryffindor's were a buzz Sirius' birthday meant a big party and everyone was looking forward to that

The marauders walked down the corridors of the school laughing and joking about the successful late night trip to Hogsmead

"What's that??" Peter asked as they walked down the corridor

"What's what??"

"There prongs!!" Peter replied pointing at the end of the corridor were a fluffy white cat idly stared at the moon

"That my deer Pete is a cat" Sirius replied rubbing his hands together a glint in his eyes

A black dog took of running down the hall barking loudly, the cat quickly go to it's feet and ran down the corridor

The marauders heard hisses and barks and then it was deadly quite sharing a look the trio quickly ran down the corridor

Once they turned the corner they saw that Padfoot had cornered the cat only instead of doing anything he looked like he was trying to recognize the cat

"Okay Padfoot let it the poor thing go" Remus said and picked up the frightened cat letting it down on the stairs

The cat quickly ran up the stairs and disappeared out of view Padfoot following it's every moment with his eyes

Marlene was woken up Saturday afternoon with the sound of arguing , Lily and Dorcas had been screaming at each other

"OI!!" Marlene yelled causing everyone to look at her

"What's going on??" Marlene asked while letting out a loud yawn

"Snape has officially lost it!!" Dorcas yelled and Marlene mumbled something under her breath as she walked into the bathroom

"No he hasn't!!" Lily snapped

"What's happening??" Marlene asked her toothbrush in between her teeth

"Lily here thinks Remus is a werewolf!!" Dorcas said causing Marlene to choke on toothpaste

Marlene stumped into the room and stared at Lily in disbelief

"Let me guess Lily , Sev told you??"

"Matter of fact he did!! But also" Lily said with a sigh and sat down in her bed

"Listen I know it's mad but hear me out" she said looking at the three girls in front of her

"Oh this is going to be good" Dorcas mumbled and sat down gesturing for Lily to continue
