It was around 11:30 on November the 2nd, his friends probably planned something for this birthday....he was turning 17 after all.....but he was not in the mood to party let alone be around anyone, he wanted to be left alone

Sirius didn't expect to find himself in Diagon Alley let alone at night after he snuck out of hogwards

He found himself a corner booth at the leaky cauldron and a bottle of fire whiskey, it was after twelve he was officially an adult in the magic world

"Here I was thinking we was the only ones who snuck away for night caps"

Sirius knew that voice anywhere, he looked up to see his uncle Alphard grinning like an idiot

"Uncle Al?!"

Alphard chuckled as he hugged the boy

"Don't flater yourself I'am genuinely here for a night cap" Alphard said as he slid into the booth next to Sirius

"Oh! Happy birthday your officially an adult! Nothing really changes, your problems are still your problems....but you can do magic" Alphard said making Sirius chuckle

"Who are you meeting?" He asked raising an eyebrow at Alphard

"Just some old pals" he said nodding towards the door

Sirius went stiff as familiar figures approached him

"You two are on the verge of getting me killed"

"You always were one for dramatics, Rosier"

"Shut up Blac- Sirius?"

"No! It's Orion! You'd think that after all this tim-

"No! Sirius!!"

Druella rushed forward and hugged the boy leaning over Alphard

"Aunt Dru"

"Oh salazar! Happy birthday! I didn't know you be joining!" She said straightening up

"I'm not just here on my own" he said with a slight chuckle

"Well we should get a round!" Alphard said grabbing Druella's arm and pulling her away while she fussed over Sirius

Sirius turned his gaze toward his father who stood in front of him, he was not looking to well if Sirius was being honest

"No hug?" Orion asked sheepishly holding out his arms

"I missed you pops!" Sirius said hugging his father

"Happy birthday Son!" Orion said as they sat down at the table

"So how long as this trio been together?" Sirius asked pointing between Orion and Druella and Alphard who were at the bar

"Since Al and I's fifth year"

"And how long has that been going on?" Sirius asked with a raised eyebrow as Druella smiled at something Alphard said slightly leaning into him

"Since Al and I's fifth year" Orion said making Sirius look at him with a raised eyebrow

"Wait! Aunt Druella and Uncle Alphard were-

"In love....well have always been in love really" Orion said with a sigh

"Wait what happened?!"

"Your grandfather basically bethroed her to the wrong brother.....it was a messy dinner and Al yelled at Pollux and Druella's dad! And then basically grabbed his trunk and apperated.....he only came back when Andromeda was born....and there was a big conservatory there too...but I think the one thing he regrets even today is not fighting for her" Orion said making Sirius glance at the pair at the bar

"Your not worried that those two may get a little handsy?"

"Not really, Alphard's head's too far up his arse and Druella is alot of things bit unfaithful isn't one of them" Orion said as the pair approached the table

"Promise me one thing.....fight for what you love Sirius! Even that girl"

"What are we talking about??" Druella asked

"Wait how does this trio work again?" Sirius asked looking the the three

"That goes back ages now!" Alphard said as he started talking about his youth

Sirius finally tore himself away from his family or as they named themselves BBR, Black, Black and Rosier

He apperated to hogsmead and used the passage from honeydukes to get back to the castle, he made his way back to Gryffindor tower but stopped as he peered around the corner, it halls were empty, except for a fluffy white cat

"Kitten?"

The cat quickly turned toward him before running his way, just as footsteps approached making him frown

"I saw it go this way!"

"Mulciber!" He said under his breath as he walked down the corridor

"Well well well.....one out of four! Where's your posse cousin?" Evan asked

"No of you business Rosier"

"That cursed beast!" Mulciber yelled pointing at the cat

"Watch you mouth Mulciber! What's a little cat like this done to offend you anyway?"

"That thing! Always finds a way to lead Flich to us!"

"Soooo shouldn't you be in your little snake hole anyway" Sirius said shrugging as he walked past the Slytherin's

"That's two strikes now Black! The next time I see it I'll gut it"

Sirius simply held up his middle finger as he walked further down the hall and turned the corner before placing the cat on the floor

"You just like pissing them off don't you?" He said as Marlene let out a chuckle now in her human form

"It's not my fault Mrs. Norris likes me" She said sending him a smile

"Happy birthday Sirius" she said as she wrapped her arms around him

"Thanks Marls" he said hugging her tight

"I got you something" she said as she pulled away and pulled out a box from her robes

"Marls....you didn't have too"

"I know! It's just your seventeen right....it's a big deal" she said kissing his cheek before the portrait door swung open

"Oh and I used a charm to shrink it.....just a heads up" she said over a shoulder

"Thanks McKinnon"

A giggle from the end of the corridor caught his attention, curiosity getting the best of him her walked round the corner to see two figures in a very heated snog

"MEADOWS?!"
