Marlene stumped up the stairs to the boys dormitories and opened the sixth years door with a bang
Mary sat perched on Sirius' lap as he held her closer while they were locked in an intense snog
"You have got to fucking be kidding me!!" Marlene yelled making the pair spring apart
Mary got to her feet and covered herself up as Marlene scoffed and shook her head
"From you I would have expected this....but you Mary.....Merlin i-
Marlene turned to her heel and walked back in the direction she came from
"Marlene please wait!! I need you to listen" Mary yelled following her down the stairs
"Listen!! Listen to what Mary!?!? How you fucked my boyfriend??" Marlene yelled as she reached the common room
"He hasn't been your boyfriend in a while has he!!"
"You know you have some nerve Mary you do!! Out of all the bitches and whores that roam these halls I wouldn't have expected you to be the one who stabbed me in the back!!"
"You said you'll were done and he said the same too! Marlene and as far as whores go.....you should go back to being number one!!" Mary yelled getting closer to Marlene who stared her down
Marlene did what she never thought she would.....she grabbed Mary by the hair and dragged her all the way to the door before shoving her out
"Get your fuckin Ravenclaw arse out of here!"
"Or what!!"
James and Peter who were stumbling back from the kitchens heard the commotion and hurried to see a very enraged Mary Mcdonald and Marlene who looked like she was about to throw fists
James quickly got in between the two girls
"It's really late Mary...you should maybe head back to Ravenclaw tower" James said leading Marlene back into the common room and grabbing Peter and yanking him through the door before shutting it
Sirius stood in the middle of the room as he argued with the other sixth years
"I thought it was a summer thing!!" Remus yelled
"It was! It is!-
"Barely back a day and you can count on you to fuck things up" Docras said with a scoff
"SHUT it Meadows!! No one wants your opinion"
"The same way no one asked you to fuck Marlene's best friend....yet here we are" Docras deadpanned picking up her coat before heading for the stairs
"I knew this was going to get messy from the start.....c'mon Rem we have rounds" Lily said with a sigh as she and Remus headed for the door
"We're just going to......." James mumbled pointing to the stairs
"Yep....got that transfiguration assignment to do and shit" Pater said bolting up the stairs behind James
Marlene looked at Sirius for what seemed to be forever in his mind.....before she walked past him the biggest frown on her face as she did
Sirius grabbed her arm as she brushed past him,making her stop abruptly
"Let me go Sirius" she said with a defeated sigh
"Hear me out"
"I don't want to......now please let.me.go"
Sirius twisted her around so they were face to face
"Marlene let me ex-
"Theres nothing to explain!! We ended things.....you and Mary clearly have something going on and it was wrong of me to impose" Marlene said sniffling
"Marls-
"Please don't make this any harder than it has to be" Marlene whispered looking up at him
"It was just a summer thing Marlene I swear"
"Well.....summer's over Sirius and it sure doesn't look like you are" Marlene said pulling herself away from him before going up the stairs to the girls dormitory
Alice sat on Lily's bed as Docras placed up and down
"She's gonna be alright Doc"
"I know it's just......her best mate's been screwing the potential love of her life.....that's got to take a toll on anyone right??"
"Yea but Marlene is strong....and she's said it before she's not going to cry over a stupid boy"
"I don't know Al.....it's Sirius Black we're talking about" Docas said as the door opened
Marlene walked in with her head down as she threw her jumper onto the bed
"Marls? You okay?" Docras asked as she approached the blonde
"Yea I'm fine why wouldn't I be??" Marlene said plastering a smile on her face
"Oh marls!" Alice said getting up and moving towards the duo
The door opened and Lily walked in just as Marlene's eyes were red rimmed with tears
"Marlene!"
She was on the floor she was sure of it....yet she knew that in the arms of her friends that even if her legs had given out they'd hold her up
And they did.....that night three girls from Gryffindor tower sat on the carpet of their dorm room and held their sobbing friend and she cried......but for maybe something more than just Sirius Black
