24. Ignoring while Regretting !?

I snuggled more into what felt like some warm hard pillow that has heartbeat.

Dhak dhak...dhak dhak...

I'm in love with that sound. But wait! How come a pillow produce such sound? 

Quickly I opened my eyes and saw how Arnav held me possesively in his arms and slept peacefully which warmed my heart.

Wait! Why am I liking this scenario? I shouldn't be in his arms after what he has done. 

Suddenly all past night events started occuring to my mind. 

"Hey devimaya! What have I done?" I started panicking and struggled to get out from his grip. 

Sensing my struggle Arnav started opening his eyes.

"Hey sweetheart! Good morning" Arnav said and placed a sweet kiss on my forehead while loosening his grip on my body.

I pushed him with all my energy and quickly escaped from that tent only to find a smirking Mike staring at me from distance.

I ignored his teasing glances and left to my tent. Mike followed me to my tent.

"What has happened last night?" Mike asked.

"Nothing" I replied in calm tone.

"Are you sure? Because If I remember correctly then I think I have heard some sexy moans coming out from my tent last night!" Mike said making me gasp with shock.

"Hey devimaya!" I exclaimed and started panicking.

"Mike please don't tell about that to anyone" I pleaded him with my eyes.

"I wanna know what's going on between you guys" Mike said.

"Nothing Mike. Leave it. I don't wanna talk about him!" I exclaimed.

"Then I'll go and ask him directly" saying this Mike turned to leave for which I gasped in shock.

"No!!!" I yelled.

"Then spill the beans my dear drama queen!" Mike said with curiousity filled eyes.

"He's from my past" I said simply.

"That I know. I need more details!" Mike exclaimed.

"He's my ex!" I said.

"Drama queen! Seriously? Do you think I'm a kid who doesn't understand what's going on in his surroundings? He's your ex. That I have figured out yesterday night itself. Tell me something that I don't know!" Mike pouted which made me smack my face.
