A/N: Sorry, no picture for this story. I couldn't find a Tangled picture with Kidge. To get a better idea, watching the movie as your reading this might help better, cause I might miss a detail while writing this. But, whatever works best for you.

Keith's POV: This is the story of how I died. But don't worry, this is a fun story, and the truth is it isn't even mine. This is the story of a girl named Katherine. And it starts with the sun.

Now, once upon a rime, a single drop of sunlight fell from the heavens. And from this small drop of sun grew a magic golden flower. It had the ability to heal the sick and injured.

Oh! You se that old woman over there? You might want to remember her. She's kind of important.

Well, Centuries passed and a hop, skip and a bot ride away there grew a kingdom. This kingdom was ruled by a beloved king and queen. And the queen, well she was about too have a baby. But she got sick...

Really sick...

She was running out of time, and that's when people usually start looking for a miracle. Or in this case, a magic Golden flower.

Ah! I told you she'd be important. You see, instead of sharing the suns gift, this woman, Mother Haggar, hoarded it's healing power and used it to keep herself young for hundreds of years. And all she had to do was sing a special song.

Narrator's POV: Mother Hagar pulled her hood down, and crouched in front of the flower, she sang the words to the song:

"Flower, gleam and glow
Let your power shine
Make the clock reverse
Bring back what once was mine.

What once was mine~"

And just like that, she was young again.

Keith's POV: Alright you get the gist. She sings to it, she turns young. Creepy right?

Narrator's POV: Mother Haggar heard voices approaching, and quickly covered the flower with the covering. She stood up, slid the hood up, grabbed the lantern she brought with her, and ran away. But in the process she knocked the cover off of the flower with the lantern. (Great job Haggar...)

Soldiers from the castle, looked around the area and saw the flower with the cover knocked down. "We found it!" They dug it up, and brought it back to the castle for the queen. Haggar however wasn't happy, as she watched them take the flower, she pondered what she could do next to keep herself young.

Keith's POV: The magic of the golden flower healed the queen.

A healthy baby girl, a princess was born, with beautiful golden hair. (For the purpose of this story, her hair will be blonde, but when it get's cut it'll be her normal hair color.)

Nrrator's POV: Katie cooed happily as she looked up at her parents, King Samuel and Queen Colleen, with wonder and curiosity. Her parents chuckled, and her mother picked her up. Putting her forehead against her daughters.

Her father put a crown on her head, but since her head was small it ended up sliding down and fell in front of one of her eyes.

Keith's POV: I'll give you a hint, that's Katie. To celebrate her birth, the king and queen launched a flying lantern into the sky. And for that next moment, everything was perfect. And then that moment ended...

Narrator's POV: Haggar knew her time of remaining young without the flower was slim to none, so she came up with the one plan she could think of, it was rather drastic though. She'd have to cut a part of the Baby's hair. She snuck into the tower via the balcony, and crept over to the cradle holding the infant girl. (I guess you could say, Pidge was being cradled 😏)

"Flower, gleam and glow
Let your power shine
Make the clock reverse..."

As she snipped the hair with her large pair of scissors, (Seriously, I'm watching this movie as I'm writing this, and those scissors are freaking huge. Especially considering the time period of this movie. They look more like the shears you use to trim a sheep more than anything.) The hair lost it's beautiful Golden color, and was now a dull Honey color. (Ok you know what... I love her hair thank you very much Haggar!)

She gasped, and the healing reversed turning Haggar old again. Her original plan had failed, yet she could still do one thing... It was pretty desperate though, but hey... desperate times call for desperate measures.

Keith's POV: Haggar broke into the castle, stole the child, and just like that, gone! The kingdom searched and searched but they could not find the princess. For deep within the forest, in a hidden tower, Haggar raised the child as her own.

Narrator's POV: As Haggar brushed Katherine's hair, she sang the words to the song her Mother had taught her:

"Save what has been lost

Bring back what once was mine

What once was mine~"

Keith's POV: Haggar had found her new magic flower, but this time, she was determined to keep it hidden. (Yeah, cause that went so well last time.)

Narrator's POV: As her Mother brushed her hair, she asked her something she had been wondering for a while. "Why can't I go outside?"

"The outside world is a dangerous place, filled with horrible, selfish people. You must stay here where you're safe. Do you understand, flower?" (I mean, your not wrong. That's very true. But you also just described yourself.)

"Yes mommy..." (Ok. Apparently the girl that does kid Rapunzel, is done by a girl named Delaney Rose Stein, she's been a few stuff actually. Including a part in Frozen 2 as young Iduna, and I guess she was the girl in Logan, so that's cool.)

Keith's POV: But the walls of that tower could not hide everything. Each year on her birthday, the king and queen released thousands of lanterns into the sky in hopes that one day their lost princess would return.

A/N: Time stamp: 5 minutes and 5 seconds into the movie. I always thought the intro was longer. But I guess not.
