Don't mess with Katie

A/N: I will be using Pidge's real name for this chapter and future ones, since family and Close friends, can call her Katie, I'll use Pidge if someone else is talking to her. This chapter and future chapters, unless specified, will be in Keith's POV, in my opinion it's easier than switching POV's, to write it this way. Also this story takes place at least 6 years after they defeated the Galra. Without Further ado, LET'S GET THIS STORY STARTED.

I never thought I would have to step foot in the Garrison after the fight with Zarkon, Lotor, Haggar, and the rest of the Galra.

But here I am inn the cafeteria trying to enjoy my lunch, but instead I am currently staring at James Griffins stupid face. But I wasn't there to look at James, I was there to see Pidge Gunderson, or as My friends and I were able to call her Katie Holt. It was weird for the longest time she insisted on being called Pidge, and then after they defeated the Galra, she finally said that they could call her Katie.

I never knew why, but for some reason that made me happy, I had come to the conclusion that she finally trusted them enough to call her by her real name, and that alone, was enough of a reason to be happy.

But now... I wasn't so sure that was entirely true, because I was currently watching James trying to flirt with Katie, and I gotta say, he was failing at it pretty miserably, even though he tried to use every Pick up line in the book. But uh he missed one, tiny, Flaw, You don't flirt with Katie, I think I've known her long enough to know that, and see the effects of it first hand, it's not to pretty.

*Flashback time*

The first time I came to this realization was on a mission they were sent on. Allura had sent us all, to Olkarion, to check the problem out, so we went to see if we could help, Katie was the most concerned though, considering her connection to the Olkari, and the planet.

When they landed, they were greeted by a young Olkari, that looked like he could be a year older than Katie, Nobody batted an eye at that though. It turns out the threat was about a hundred Galra fighters, that were destroying the crops and nature, which we soon came to realize, would take all of us to destroy, Katie, she practically laid a beat down on them, using the upgrade she got on Olkarion in the first place, and Together we destroyed them all.

Lance and me had started to notice something though, once Katie had landed, we were accessing the damage the Galra fighters had done, it wasn't to bad, but, it would take longer for the crops to grow, so not necessarily good either, We noticed the guy seemed oddly interested in Katie, more so her, uh Butt.

I had to hold Lance back multiple times from wringing the guys neck, I don't think he could help it, it was the older brother part of him, even though I wanted to wring the guys neck myself.

Then we watched as the poor boy, who's name we later learned was Skip, a rather strange name, but I wasn't one to judge, I mean Heck, my Mom almost named me Yorak, thank god my Dad vetoed against that name, and went with Keith.

We watched him closely, as he went over to Katie to talk to her, Clearly he was nervous, He cleared his throat, which made her turn around, and she gave him a small smile. "Oh Hello, Can I help you with something," Oh bless Katie, for being somewhat innocent to what the dude wanted. "Well I just wanted to say that, you fight good, and manage to look good doing it," I could see her smile falter a little bit, before coming back on her face, "Well, thank you for the compliment, about my fighting, but I couldn't have done that alone, I had some help, I always do," she said it with slight fondness, and some edge to it, at the same time, the guy was clearly not taking a hint from her tone, because he kept going. "You are right that you had help, you always have help, and for defending us against the Galra, I am grateful for that," he stepped forward, which made her step back, until she was against a wall, definitely not an ideal situation, I stepped forward to help Pidge, and was flanked by Lance, Shiro, and Hunk, who looked seriously annoyed, I stopped short though, once I realized, which made everyone run into each other. "Ow dude what the heck, why'd you stop." "Guys look who we're talking about, this is the same girl that shocked Lance with her Bayard on the first day." They realized I was right so they Sat on the ground, to watch the show.

"Excuse me, but I would appreciate it if you would stop it... Now." Her voice had dropped of any niceness, and was replaced with annoyance and bitterness. The dude clearly didn't, have a brain, or he would've known who he was messing with. Because Skip placed both his hands on either side of Katie's head, and leaned closer. D-did this guy have a death wish or something, seriously he was trying to kiss a Paladin of Voltron, and it was Katie no less, And then it happened.

She finally snapped, she grabbed his, You-know-what, and twisted it, for a good minute, before letting go. She then proceeded to grab his right wrist, flipped him over her back, so he was laying on his stomach, and put her knee in his back, she didn't say a word , or make noise, the whole time, so when she finally spoke, she said, "I warned you skip, but did you listen,  No you didn't, you decided to push me, which was the wrong move pal, and you messed with the wrong chick, don't touch any other girl here, or I will find out about it, and when I do, your gonna wish you never heard the name Pidge Gunderson." She got off of him, and walked away with a huge Smirk on her face, she saw us, and her smirked turned into a smile, "Come on, let's head back to the Castle ship."

*End of flashback*

Needless to say, that had made an impact on me, I had realized that you don't flirt with Katie Holt, it won't end well for you, you can bet on that.

And just as I thought that, she did it again, and with a Smile no less, well actually it was more of a smirk, apparently Lance, Shiro, Hunk, Matt, and Cosmo, had been looking for her, Shiro noticed, and walked forward, going into Space Dad mode, but I shot my arm out, and stopped him, he looked at me like I'm crazy, I'm not crazy, I shook my head no, and whispered, "She'll be fine, believe me, this isn't the first time a complete boke has pulled this."

We watched again, as he moved towards her, she spun around caught his arm, as it was reaching towards her, she pulled it and punched him in the face, (If you want a picture of that, I just used inspiration from a fighting move Natasha Romanoff does in Iron Man 2,) and shoved him against a wall, He had the face that said, "I got you right where I want you," which proved to be the wrong facial expression to make, because Katie grabbed his arm, and flipped him over, and put her knee in the same spot she did last time, between the shoulder blades apparently it's super effective.

There was silence for a while, before Lance broke it, he let out a loud cheer, that was followed by the rest of us, I may have cheered the loudest, it made Pidge jump, and she spun around with her arms ready to fight, She calmed down once she realized it was only Lance, and us.

I turned around to find that both Matt, and Lance were gone, 'ok Keith calm down, it's not that bad of a thing, maybe they just went to the bathroom at the same time." OH WHO WAS I KIDDING, they we're probably planning something. Whether it was a good idea or not, I don't know, One thing was for sure, if those two we're planning something together... it wasn't gonna end well, for anyone within a 6 foot radius, of wherever they were.

A/N: Yes you get two of them in one. I hope you like this The next two chapters will be a Part 2 and 3 of this, but there are some interesting characters.
