Chapter 6: Party With The Unexpected

"A party? You serious? Guys its on a school night." I explain because clearly they don't know the difference between the weekends and weekdays.

"Come on Clara! Its just for one day, live a little." Tessa complains. Hey, I do live! I took the last cookie from the cookie jar yesterday. How is that not living? I roll my eyes and continue eating my salad.

"Plus, nearly our whole entire grade is coming. Even Jack." Maire adds. Suddenly I become more interested and now I can't remember what I was thinking.

"Continue..." I plead. Maire gives an amused looks and then continues.

"Well, don't you want to impress him? Like, if we put you in a hot dress with a bit of makeup and bling. Jack won't be able to take his eyes off you let alone his hands." Maire explains. I nod my head, shes right. I need to get Jack to notice me more and for him to be proud that I'm his hot girlfriend.

"So your coming then?" Tessa asks while taking a sip out of her drink. I smile a $100 dollar smile.

"Meet me at my house at 7:00."

"No freaking way! You're wearing one of your sisters dresses!?" Tessa shouts. My goodness, do they know how to keep it down!

"Shh Tessa! My sisters home now." I explain. I walk over to the mirror for one last check before we leave. For the party I'm wearing a white one shoulder dress but in the middle is a strip of clear beaded crystal and it stops at my thigh. My makeup is quite simple and my hair is just flowing down my back in curls.

"Are you ready to get your grove on Clara?" Maire asks giving a quick dance movement. By the way, Maire's type of dancing is doing macarina.

"Yes I am totally ready." I reply and then grabbing my clutch and my white ankle clutch shoes. We were off for our last senior year party.

About 20 minutes later we arrive at the house. But the house isn't the thing that catches my eye, its how many people there are. Ok before you have any bad thoughts, it college people. I thought only our grade was invited not people above us.

"OK guys I'm not too sure about this now, how about we turn around and go. Pretend we were never here." I suggest. Tessa and Maire give me blank looks. Theres no way I'm getting out of this now.

"Come on Clara, its only a few college people." Tessa says trying to calm me down. I nod, their right no backing out. We get out of the car and walk up the pathway to the entry of the house. Maire opens the door and my mouth drops open slowly. People are drunk everywhere! Music is blasting off and damaging my airdrums, people making out in every corner and the whole place smells like beer. Yay, life...

"Come on Clara, lighten up a little." Maire says pulling me in. Crap, she must have seen my shocked face. We walk more deeper into the house stepping over people in our way. But then I finally relax when I see Jack, thank goodness. I jog over to him and hug him tightly. He jumps from my hug and then kisses me on the forehead. I step back to see him and damn, he looks hot. Then I notice him looking up and down at me, even some of his friends.

"Done checking me out yet?" I ask. His head snaps back up to me and he just puts a sexy grin on his face. He walks closer to me and holds me by the waist.

"I don't know, I don't think I can get used to the view babe." He replys moving his hands around my body. I shiver at his touch, as always. Then he leans in to kiss me.

"Bro come on there playing spin the bottle lets go!" His mate interupts. Thanks. He stops and turns to his friend.

"Be right there bro." He says a bit annoyed and then returns the focus back to my. "Juty calls. You coming?" I shake my head. The last time I played spin the bottle I had to run around the garden naked, and I mean naked.

"I'm good thanks, but you go. I'm going to try and find the girls." I lie. I have no freaking idea they would be and sadly I don't want to go around the drunken sight to find them.

"Ok, see you later ok." He says and gives me a quick peck on the lips and leaves. I sigh, great alone in a place I don't even know. Then I suddenly get knocked over on to the ground by a person and land on some beer.

"Sorry girl! Just having fun with this lady." The boy says pointing to the girl he has beside him. I stand up crunching up my fists. Then I punch him right in the face, he flys to the side and lands on the floor in a puddle.

"Now you know how it feels b***h!" I shout feeling proud of my victory. But then I look to down, great I ruinned my sisters dress. I move past the crowd I made and look around the house trying to find a free room. Lets just say I opened 3 rooms and they were all taken by 'couples'. I come to the last door of the hallway. This better be free.

I open it slightly and thank goodness its free. I rush in and close the door behind me and then take off my heels that were killing my poor feet. I walk over to the bed and sit down, why did I agree to come to this party. 

 The door suddenly opens without a second to spear, my head shots to the door. But I would never expect him to be here.

"Leo?" I ask. He comes in slowly and closes the door.

"Clara? What are you doing here?" He asks coming more into the room. I give a blank look, seriously? Is his brain not working today.

"I felt like coming here for fun to study with you." I say sacastically. He chuckles and pushes his glasses up. Leo then comes and sits down beside me.

"You here for the party I'm guessing." He says.

" Yep,Why are you here?" I ask sounding surprised.

"Its my brothers party." He says sighing.

"Well my friends left me and my boyfriend also left me. Then I get pushed over into a puddle of beer and then punched him.Now my sisters dress is ruined. I think I'm having a more worse day than you pal." I say examining the stain. How the heck am I going to get this stain out?

"Oh so the popular girl can punch?" He asks. I smirk and give him a playful push and for the rest of the night we just chatted like we were bestfriends.
