Chapter 11: Too Many Questions

So this is what it feels like, having a broken heart because someone flipping cheated on you. I still can't get my head around this, he was kissing another girl. Today I sit on the couch watching Netflix, with all the food in the pantry. There's no place like home.

"Oh my gosh, you are still on that flipping couch?" My sisters shouts and comes deeper into the living room. I nod and continue eating popcorn.

"I still can't believe you. How many days have you spent on this couch?" She asks taking some on my junk food. I notice and give him a death glare but Kate just shrugs.

"About a week and a half now." I mumble feeling ashamed. Kate groans and sits on the couch beside me.

"You are a disgrace, look you haven't even put your contacts in." She says. Yes, call me lazy but contacts can be really uncomfortable and glasses are not that bad.

"Thanks for the update." I say and stand up to leave to my quiet room. Kate suddenly grabs my wrist and stops me.

"Clara, you need to get back out there again and not stay inside eating popcorn all day. You need to move on."My sister explains sounding dead serious. I look into her eyes and sigh.

"Fine, I'm going to see if Leo is free so we can study." I groan. Kate nods and leaves in victory. I sigh and grab my phone to text Leo.

 Wanna come over and study with me?

Please say no please say no! My phone vibrates almost immediately.

"Ok, now you work out this question out.' Leo says pointing to the problem on the page. Then I suddenly slam the book shut and walk to my fridge.

"Well someone has had enough of math." Leo says and I give him a grunt reply. "Or is this about the breakup?" 

I then suddenly shoot dead cold. How does he know about the breakup? I haven't told anyone. Unless..Jack Robert.

"How do you know that me and Jack have broken up?" I ask sticking a straw into the juice box. He shrugs.

"The rumor is going around school. So is it true?" He asks leaning in closer. I roll my eyes and sit back down at the table.

"Yes," I say softly trying not to cry in front of Leo.

"Who was the girl he cheated on you with?" He questions scooting closer to me, I give a weird look and scoot further away.

"Her name was Karen." I admit sipping my juice slowly. He nods and speaks again.

"Why did he cheat on you?" He asks. I throw my hands up in the air. This is unbelievable.

"Are you captain questions or something?" I shout. "He meet her at you brothers stupid party and cheated on me, happy?" Then I stamper off into the lounge and go face first onto the couch. I hear Leo walking into the room.

"You wanna talk about it?" He asks and sits beside me. I groan 'no' and sit up properly.

"Leo you wouldn't understand." I say. 

"True, I wouldn't." He Admits and I laugh. I find it nice having someone to be silly around and just someone to make me laugh. Leo doesn't care what I look like and loves to make me laugh. Its a really nice feeling for me.

"Anyway I better go, I hope things turn out the way they should be with you and Jack." He says and stands up to go get his bag.

"I don't think they will but I had fun trying to learn math with you." I say smiling and move to the end of couch leaning on a cushion.

"Please tell me you learnt something." He begs and puts his bag around his shoulder. I giggle and bite my bottom lip.

"Maybe." I answer. He rolls his eyes and makes his way to the door then I follow skipping along the yellow brick road.

"See you Monday Clara." Leo says. I smile and open the door.

"Bye Leo." I respond.
