Chapter 6: Realization

3rd Person POV

The two of them alone, sat in the veranda drinking champagne while chatting happily

And there was Y/n and Alexandra watching their daughter smile and blush in front of the person she loves

"Come on, let's give them privacy" Y/n dragged Alexandra

"Aw but I want to watch" Alexandra pouted and Y/n just kissed the pout away

"Mrs Throndsen! Greetings this is my son Frederick"

Some guy introduced his son and Alexandra's soft expression turned to a cold one, she knew where this was going

"Hello Frederick, good evening" Alexandra greeted politely

"I was thinking of expanding my business by my son marrying your daughter Brooke, he just turned twenty-one so it's a perfect match. Beautiful babies in the future too!"

Alexandra gritted her teeth and Y/n wasn't buying it, she won't sell their daughter just for a cheap company

"I like your daughter Mrs Throndsen and I hope you give me your blessing since I will court her"

Frederick said confidently resulting the couple to chuckle at his newly found confidence

"Then do it, right now. If you can't manage to swoon my daughter then you two are out of my house"

Alexandra muttered and that Frederick guy trembled

"Irina get Brooke for me, and do apologize to her since I ruined her alone time with her beloved"

Alexandra ordered and Y/n just stared at her wife adoringly

Minutes later Brooke walked inside the mansion looking gorgeous as ever

"Mama what is it? I was chatting with Sophie"

Brooke sighed in frustration and Alexandra apologized and kissed her daughter's cheeks then explained the circumstances

"Oh... so you, a peasant want to marry me?" She asked in a soft tone

"Y-Yes, I'm in love with you and I plan on courting you right now"

Frederick says and he feels like he's the most important person of the night, meanwhile Brooke stared at him as if he was a dirt

"Hey" Brooke called out Frederick paused his long ass speech

"What is it?" Frederick asked

"I don't like guys and I hate them. They're filthy, loud, disgusting, and utterly ridiculous"

Brooke didn't mean what she said, it was just to scare the guy. She even has a trustworthy bodyguard who's really nice

"Drag him out" Alexandra ordered the guaand dragged the two person out of the house

"God that was exhausting, can I go back now?"

Brooke asked and Alexandra gave her a thumbs up

Sophie's POV

-

I waited for Brooke to come back and was shocked to see a the guards dragging someone out

"Good evening miss Sophie!" One of the guards greeted resulting me to smile

"Sophie Mckenzie Grey, you should go home"

I turned around and saw Amelia looking pissed

I need a job so I won't fight back

"Sorry Boss I can't do that, Brooke might hate me again"

I apologized as polite as I can be but Amelia didn't want me to be here, she stared at me like I was the most disgusting person she ever set eyes on

"Don't come near her, she's mine and I plan to wait just to marry her"

Amelia towered me and I trembled in fear

"Go home, no one wants you here. Do you even fit to be here?"

Amelia chuckled and I couldn't smack the shit out of her because she's my boss

"Stay away from my Sophie"

Brooke pushed Amelia away and she held my hand tightly then dragged me somewhere

"Sorry I was a bit late, I'm here now" Brooke smiled and my chest began to throb again

And that's when I realized, I have feelings for Brooke Marais Throndsen
