Chapter 15: Butterflies

Sophie POV

We sat beside each other with our fingers intertwined, it sends butterflies to my stomach

It was just us, sitting under the moonlight.

Everything is just perfect even though Brooke's eyes were swollen from crying too much

It was cute that I couldn't help but to smile at her adorable self. I then turned to her and kissed the side of her head

"What's with you being sweet?"

Brooke asked and I stifle a laugh when I saw her swollen eyes

"Stop laughing! It's not funny!"

I just gave her a cheeky grin and she blushed then buried her face on the crook of my neck

"I'm sorry, you're just too cute" I mumbled and stroked her back softly

"I'm not cute, I'm hot and irresistible" She mumbled and that made me laugh

We just stayed like that for a couple of seconds and enjoyed each other's warmth

"Let's go home, I'll drive. Give me your keys"

I made sure I was looking cool and Brooke gave me her keys and followed me, still not letting go of my hand

"Sophie, just now... Were you trying to act cool?" Brooke asked and I chocked on air

"I-I wasn't, just get in please" I mumbled with a blush on my cheeks

Brooke giggled and got in, I closed the door and also got in then started the engine

"Sophie, I want to hold your hand while you drive" Brooke mumbled cutely, I gulped and blushed

"Brooke, that's not safe" I cleared my throat and she whined like a kid

In the end, I just gave what she wanted. I couldn't resist her adorable self. It is really dangerous

Luckily we arrived at her house safely, we then got out and Brooke pulled me in for a hug once again

"It's late Brooke, Y/n and Alexandra will get mad at you"

I mumbled and tucked a strand of her hair behind her ear. Brooke smiled and pecked my lips causing me to smile like a lovesick teenager

"I like you" Brooke whispered and giggled

"I like you too Brooky"

I chuckled and cupped her cheeks then connected our soft lips. Our lips moved in sync and my mind felt like exploding in happiness

"Ahem" We pulled away and there stood Alexandra who's crossing her amrs

"A-Alexandra, I was just uhm Brooke and me are-"

"Mama, Sophie confessed that she loves me"

My cheeks heats up, and Alexandra let out a surprised gasp, Alexandra and Brooke did a high five and I chuckled

"W-We're not dating but I'm planning to take her out on a date tomorrow"

I stammered and began fidgeting, but Alexandra patted my shoulder and gave me thumbs up

"Okay, I trust you Sophie!" Alexandra grinned and I smiled widely

"What the hell, Alexandra go back to sleep- Oh Sophie? Good evening"

Y/n greeted and I greeted her too

"Honey, hear me out. Sophie is going to take our Brooke on a date tomorrow"

Y/n gasped and stared at me

"Should we celebrate tomorrow?"
