Chapter 10: Just A Kiss

Brooke POV

-

"Mom I'm going out today, I need to help Amelia with the designs"

I shouted as I put on my heels.  Mom gave a thumbs up while Henry gave me a flying kiss as a goodbye

When I opened the door, there was a boy who's holding a bag of toys and he has curly hair

"Uh hi, is Henry home? He promised to play with me today"

He asked cutely and I let him in of course, Henry spotted him and dragged him upstairs 

Such a bunch of cuties

I then went to the garage and decided to ride my red Ferrari LaFerrari Aperta. Mama gave me this car as a gift and it's beautiful

When I arrived there, I sighed as I looked up as Amelia's company

My Mama is much more successful and I'm proud of it

I asked the receptionist for Amelia and she looked at me hesitantly

"Miss your name isn't here, you need to reserve a free time if you wish to talk to the CEO"

Gosh, seriously?

I took my phone out to call Amelia but my gaze landed on Sophie who just got out of the elevator looking like a mess

"Sophie, what happened?" I asked as her eyes widen when she saw me

She then covered her face and and her ears were turning red

"Nothing's wrong, I just spilled the coffee all over me. No worries just a clumsy accident"

She laughed it off and I frowned at her, I knew her so well. We grew up together and every time she lies she doesn't meet my gaze

"Wait here, okay? If you try to escape I will track you down"

She nodded her head obediently and I walked out of the building to get my extra shirt and towel that I brought with me

When I came back I saw Sophie sitting on one of the chairs and people with expensive suits laughed at her

"What the hell is wrong with them" I mumbled and walked towards her

"I'm back, come to the car. There are pests here"

I tried to drag her but she stopped me

"I-I still have to buy coffee for Amelia,  she'll get mad"

Sophie sounded scared and I furrowed my brows and dragged her anyways

"I don't care, come on" We walked out of the building and we went to the nearest bathroom 

While I was wiping her face, I noticed that she grew a few inches taller. I smiled and wiped her cheeks then to her neck

"S-Should I stop? Am I making you uncomfortable?"

I asked blushing when I saw her cleavage, she didn't reply but she just held my wrist and stared at me

My heartbeat was too loud that it made me embarrassed

I then slowly closed my eyes and get ready for the kiss but all I got was a kiss on the forehead

"Wha-"

I blushed furiously and Sophie turned away blushing

"What? It's just a k-kiss on the forehead" Sophie mumbeld and I stifle a laugh
