- Isabella's POV -

Darelle shouted my name bringing me back into reality. I spun my head towards the direction of his voice ignoring the groans and ear bleeding sound of gunshots being fired. I couldn't spend my time dwelling over Lorenzo, I had time afterwards, nothing matters more than catching him and keeping myself from any more trouble.

I slipped the Glock out of my side pant pocket raising it and lifting my chin, "I'll find him!". With that I ran dodging bullets watching men I pushed past dropping down. The police already made their way in leaving Lorenzo men and themselves in a bloody war.

There are so many places Lorenzo could be hiding in, I doubt he would run out because that's a stupid move to do. I rushed down the halls of his mansion, passing doors and barging into each one but nothing. They are all empty, surprisingly aren't be disturbed by anyone. All the chaos drifted off the farther I ran down, where the hell was he?

My breathing became ragged and warm sweat glided down my neck to my back until I reach the end of the hall, a dead end. I rested my free hand on the smooth dark decorated wall and pressed my forehead against it. I didn't have time to stand around but my mind is clouded with so much that I couldn't think properly. I needed to take a breath and think, think if I was Lorenzo where will I go?

There are so many rooms and probably secret rooms around this mansion that'll he'll go. I checked about one-fourth of the downstairs that this job will need more than just me but I didn't want anyone to find him. I want to capture him myself, that's the most I deserve and I'm not going to fuck it up again.

Where are you, Lorenzo?

I think over the missions I've done in the past. It's crazy the extends people will go through just not to get caught once things go down. People put not only theirs but innocent people's lives in danger to save their own, some hid in secret rooms or furniture, and others left, well-tried to.

They attempted to leave the country by driving and even flights. Flights?... Lorenzo owns a plane. If he's not here and out of sight he must be on a fucking plane heading back to Italy! It might sound crazy to others but that's what my life is filled with and it will only make sense. You have to think like a criminal in situations like this and If I'm right, I can't stay here any longer, I'm capable of getting things done myself with the right mindset, and the only thing other than catching him and causing him pain is flooding my mind.

I spun on my feet but stood still, my breath hitched looking straight at the gun ahead of me. I was so focused on where Lorenzo was that I didn't hear anyone near. I flick my eyes up, a man who's taller and way bigger than me standing in front of me. I've never seen him before which explains why he's making such a dumb decision trying to threaten me.

"I wouldn't move, girl," He says, his voice deep with a heavy accent hanging off the last word.

I didn't listen of course and raised the gun beside me, pointing it up and leveling it to his eyes as he did to me. I tilt my head feeling a rush through me, "Fuck with me" I challenged, a smirk tugging my lips.

As much as I would love to continue this game between me and this random man I don't have the time. I grabbed ahold of his gun flipping it away with my free hand, gripping it out his hold and butt his head with mines causing him to stumble back. Tucking in a gun into my side pockets I grabbed his upper arm that is nothing but muscle and swung it back making him groan but before I could do anymore he elbowed me with his free arm.
