Chapter 1 "Approved"

Speedy's POV:

(A few Days Earlier)

"I can't believe what I am seeing!" Said Bea and-

"We got Approved!" We Both Cheered and We hugged eachother tightly and I giggled but than I started to get nervous and Bea noticed that and-

"Are You okay?" Asked Bea and-

"I'm just nervous" I Said and-

"We'll be just fine with Our new Foster Kids and Best of all, We're getting 4 not 1, So They'll keep eachother company" Said Bea and-

"Are You sure, We're ready on This?" I Asked and-

"Speedy, We've both agreed with This, Now Stop being so worried before You have an panic attack...again" Said Bea and I sigh and I smiled and-

"Alright, I'll calm down" I Said and Bea smiled and She playfully punched Me on My arm and-

"Ow...What Did I do now?" I Asked and Bea smiled.

"Nothing, I just couldn't help Myself" Said Bea and-

"So, You punch Me for no reason, Bea, You scare Me sometimes because Remember When We were Young and You punch Me sometimes" I Said and-

"The reason why I punch You is to make You stop stupid things, Remember You and That One Kid You hated so much, I literally gave You a Punch on The shoulder because You couldn't stay quiet because I didn't wanted You to get hurt obviously" Said Bea and-

"Me? I never get hurt" I Said but-

"You got beat Up by A Girl Onces, Remember Polly The Parrot, She literally accused You for something that You didn't do, She blame You for stealing Her Lunch Money but The Chick was obviously lying about it" Said Bea and-

"Yeah and I had to hold You back because You were trying to beat Betty Up" I Said and-

"Because She couldn't leave You alone and Did it look like I cared what Betty thinks of Me? No, Because She was obviously crazy from The Start, We met Her and She was definitely hitting on You for some reason and I punched Her in The face" Said Bea and-

"Bea, You're lucky that The School didn't kicked You out" I Said and-

"Because I am way too sneaky for The School to realized it was Me" Said Bea and-

"No, Because They wanted to give You another chance and They did" I Said and Bea glare at Me with a smile on Her face and She playfully punch Me Two more times and I giggled.

Speedy's POV:

"Now before I give These beautiful Young Chicks into Your care, You deserve to know what happen to each one of These Chicks" Said Mrs. Cindy and I take a look At The Four Cadets...Well, I'm going to call Them Cadets for now. When I looked at Them, The Four of Them were sitting behind The Plane and They were just looking at Us with worried look on Their faces and I got worried and-

"Alright, Now, The Oldest One, His name is Swift, He's a Blue Jay...and...He was never met His Biological, The Second Oldest Rod, He is a Rooster and  He's Parents had to give Rod because His Family was so poor, Now Brody is a Puffin and  Brody's parents was The most normal" Said Mrs. Cindy and-

"Okay and How-" I Asked but-

"His Parents died" Said Cindy and Both Me and Bea looked at eachother and-

"Please don't asked How They died, That's just going to get ugly real fast" Said Mrs. Cindy and Both Me and Bea nodded Our heads and-

"Well What about The Youngest?" Asked Bea and-

"Right Penny, Penny is an penguin...Well, About Her, Penny is muted which She can't talk at all, Do You know Sign Language?" Asked Mrs. Cindy and-

"Yeah, The Two of Us know it really well" I Said and-

"Okay Good and Please be very gentle because These four Chicks went through a lot from Their old foster Parents" Said Mrs. Cindy and-

"What do You mean?" I Asked and-

"These Four Friends were...were...They got abuse By Their Foster Parents...Their Foster Parents Hit, Slap, Kick, Punch and Burn These Four Chicks, They'll even starve Those Chicks and Go way to far by Locking Them in room or an a Basement" Said Cindy and-

"How long This was going on?" Asked Bea and-

"A Year and A Half" Said Mrs. Cindy and-

"What?!" Both Me and Bea Yelled and-

"I know....I really don't wanna talk about it because One of Their Foster Parent almost chocked One of Them to death and All Four of Them got knocked out more than 3 times" Said Mrs. Cindy and-

"Do You want Me to bring Them over to You?" Asked Mrs. Cindy and-

"No because Just let Them come over to Us when They are ready" Said Bea and I nodded My head and-

"Why is that?" Asked Cindy and-

"Because I'll burst into tears when I look into Those sad eyes of Theirs" Said Bea and My heart just dropped and I agreed with Bea because I would cry too. I wanna cry right now because I can tell that These small Cadets have been through a lot and I think That They are afraid of Us because What happened when They use to live with Their Old Abusive Foster Parents. When I looked Up, I saw that The Four Cadets was walking slowly towards Us and All Four of Them were shaking a little bit.

"Guys, This is Speedy and Bea, They'll be Your new Foster Parents" Said Mrs. Cindy and Both Me and Bea wave at Them but They still look pretty scared and uncomfortable and My heart just broke and-

"If anything goes wrong than You know My Number or You know where to find Me" Said Cindy and Cindy hugged The Four Cadets and Both Me and Bea smiled but than I saw that Penny started to cry and I was holding back The tears that were coming into My eyes because I bet Penny has been going through a lot, Someone so young and small at Her age.

"Don't cry Penny, I'll come back and Visit" Said Cindy but-

"It's still not the same!" Said Penny in Sign Language and-

"Oh Penny, Just give it one more chance and-" Said Cindy but-

"No!" Said Penny in sign language and-

"We wanna go with You!" Said Brody and-

"Can't We go with You?!" Asked Rod and-

"What happen if They..." Said Swift and I saw tears falling down His face and-

"Swift, Do You really think that I'll bring You guys to another abusive Home?" Asked Cindy and-

"We just don't want You to leave..." Said Brody and He started to cried and-

"We'll miss You" Said Rod and The Four Cadets started to hug Cindy and They cried and I felt tears slowly coming down My face and I looked at Bea but She was trying to stay strong but She was trying to hold back The Tears and-

"I love You guys, Just give it a chance" Said Cindy and They all wipe Their tears away and They nodded Their head and Cindy kiss Them on Their Foreheads and I quickly wipe My tears away.

"I better get going" Said Cindy and She walked back and She went into The Plane and She started to fly away and The Four Cadets looked at Us with worried looks on Their faces and Both Me and Bea looked at eachother and than We started to get worried and Now when I think about it...

Am I really ready for This?
