We were sitting in the board room waiting for Y/n to come. She was running a little late, again. I now see why her and Zach get along so well.

After the meeting Y/n pulled me aside to talk. I saw Corbyn give me a sign. He was going to get the gifts to give to her. I would distract her and then he would ask her, and she would say yes, hopefully.
"Daniel I need your help."She said.
"Yeah sure, just wait one second." Corbyn was standing right behind her by this point and he was ready to ask.
"It can't wait, I need you to go on a date with me tonight." She said.
"What?" I was so confused.
Behind her, Corbyn dropped the basket he was holding, startling Y/n.
"Corbyn?"
"I-I have to go." He ran out of the room.
"Why would you ask me that?" I asked.
"Because, my ex is coming to town and I told him I had a boyfriend and he said he wanted to meet my non-existant boyfriend. Please help." She was rambling.
"Why did you ask me? Why not ask like Corbyn?"
"Because I think he still has feelings for me and it'll be awkward. Please Daniel." She pleaded.
