Sleep in peace

"Cassandra?" I heard a voice I had become all to familiar with yell from downstairs. Why can't I just sleep in for once. Loud knocks could be heard on the door getting impatient by the second. "Open the bloody door, I know you're home! I can hear you heart beat!" I rolled over willing myself to drift back to sleep. The knocking grew louder. "I will come up there!" I opened my eyes and glared at my ceiling. "I'm not home. Come back tomorrow!" I yelled.

The knocking stopped. Finally peace and - "Get out of bed." No. Go away. "I know you can hear me." I'm dead. I'm asleep. I'm in a coma. "Get up before I make you." Leave me alone. I want to sleep. "Ok thats it." In under a second my curtains had been torn open and my blankets thrown off of me taking all the warmth with them. I opened my eyes and glared at the intruder.

"Rebekahhh just let me sleep in peace it's to early in the morning!" I cried, she looked nothing but unimpressed. "It is ten in the morning Cassie." I threw myself back down on my pillow trying to go back to sleep once more. "Exactly! I could have gotten at least two more hours of sleep in!" I didn't get a response but could hear her rummaging through my closet.

I opened my eyes yet again and pulled myself out of bed, I guess this means no more sleep for today. I glanced back at my bed longingly. "Oh get over yourself. Here put these on, as soon as you're dressed head down to the Salvatore house theres something you need to see." Rebekah shoved some clothes into my arms before she vanished. "I should just go back to bed, she'd never know." My phone buzzed.

Rebekah: Don't even think about going back to bed. I will know.

Vampires claim they cannot read minds... But I'm beginning to have my doubts.

I did not get dressed as Rebekah requested, I meant to but I accidentally went back to bed and feel asleep for an extra four hours. It's not my fault ... I accidentally tripped backwards and fell underneath my covers. I just couldn't get out of bed again, it was too hard!

In my defense I'd usually get up earlier than ten but I had stayed up until three that morning reading, I just had to finish the book I had to know how it ended! The worst part is, it ended on a cliff hanger and the next book hasn't been released yet!

When I woke up yet again it was two in the afternoon, I may have just messed up my whole sleep schedule. Oops. I'm surprised Rebekah didn't show up again to wake me up. Who knows what they have going on today. What is it this time an evil fairy coming to destroy Mystic Falls? You know cause everything bad has to happen in Mystic Falls. Why not somewhere more exciting? Honestly my siblings and their friends are always up to something I swear since I've returned to Mystic Falls I have barely had a single day of peace.

I got dressed in the outfit Rebekah had set out for me four hours earlier before heading downstairs for a very late lunch. I decided to make myself some tacos. I love tacos and we luckily had some stuff left over from the night before. Tacos are legit the best food, I could survive purely on them. Once I had finished my delicious Taco and fully intended on heading to the Salvatore house now five hours late but I found out that the book I had ordered had been delivered this morning and just had to begin it. I'm sure they can all wait a little while longer, I doubt they even need me.

I read and read completely losing track of time because when I looked up it was dark. Shit. Rebekah is going to kill me, I'm surprised I'm still here alive. I quickly grabbed a bag shoving my book inside before grabbing my phone and another taco before I finally proceeded to head down to the Salvatore house.

I walked into the Salvatore house not caring about knocking. "Sorry I am so late, I got ... distracted" I called as I entered but stopped short when I found something I never expected. "Why the hell is there a dead body on the floor? A little warning next time would be appreciated children!"
