December! The Christmas month. Seoul looks freezing during winter nights. The beautiful city is covered with a white sheet of snow. I traveled a long way but still haven't reached my destination yet. The Incheon International Airport of Seoul shines beautifully when covered with snow. Christmas trees are perfectly decorated with lights and plastic candies. Looking at such a beautiful place makes my heart skip a beat. I have been sitting here at the airport for around two hours. It is really difficult to travel alone in a foreign country. Despite so much rush at the airport, still I can feel this freezing weather. I was not waiting for someone to pick me up. I was only wishing to reach my destination as soon as possible. That was a promise I made to someone before getting separated. I was sitting there with a dream that seemed almost impossible to accomplish. But, I traveled so far with this impossible dream. I believe in the supernatural. I believe in god. If I was destined for this, then I will definitely achieve this goal. I did not carry much. My luggage looked like I was only going to stay for a week in Seoul. But, even I had no idea how much time I was going to spend here. I had packed my things in haste. It was like something suddenly came up to me. Sitting on the bench of Seoul's airport, I was lost in my thoughts. For two hours, I was imagining how I ended up here, in a foreign country. While I was thinking about my way to reach those whom I have lost, someone tapped on my shoulder,

"Annyeonghasio!(Hello!) Eoneu nara?(Your country?)" said the man. He wore a loose jacket that was not so well-ironed. He wore a cap that did not protect his ears properly. I saw his ears turned red due to the cold.

"Naneun Indoesso narayeo(I am from India)", I replied. It was easy for me to understand him as I learned Korean a few years before. I was not fluent but few words were easy to catch.

"English? Ani Hangul!(No Hangul)" I said hoping the person might know English.

"Yes! Yes! English I know. I cab driver. Go?"

"Yes please take me to the nearest hotel. This one?" I showed him the address of the nearest hotel from the airport on Google. Fortunately, the cab driver knew his way to the hotel.

After few hours of traveling, I finally checked in to my hotel. The room view was perfect. The room was not so big but it was cozy enough. The bed was placed next to the window from where the Seoul city was seen shining brightly at night. I sat on the bed looking at the beauty of the city. The thoughts again crossed my mind.

'How will I meet them? Where to find them? I came a long way just for a promise! Before them, life was never so pretty. Coming to a foreign country was my only option left. If it were not them, I would still have been stuck with my past.'

The thoughts started getting blur and soon I fell asleep.
