As Xavier drove through the bustling streets, Luella sat in the back seat of the car, her excitement barely contained as they made their way to Adriel's office. Peering out the window, she watched with wide-eyed wonder as the cityscape unfolded before her, each passing building and bustling street captivating her attention.
"You enjoyed school baby?" Xavier asked his sister who was sat at the back looking out of the window
"Yup, I really enjoyed it! I also made friends" she said smiling brightly, proud of her first day
"Hmm, no boys right?" Xavier teased
Luella glared at Xavier from the rearview mirror which made him chuckle at how cute she looked with her glares
"No" she shook her head "Don't like any boys" she lied.
She actually found Alejo cute.
"Good, I better not see you with any boys. if I do I will throw them in the school bushes and they won't be able to get out" Xavier warned
"You're so mean," Luella said in disbelief.
"No baby, I'm actually very nice" Xavier shrugged turning into the office car park
"Alright, Adriel wants to see you before you get home," Xavier said parking beside Adriel's car
Luella nodded and put her coat on getting ready to get out of the car
"Xavier I'm really hungry too," Luella said as her stomach grumbled. Xavier laughed at her "I'll get you food on the way home" he said helping his sister get out of the car
Adriel was to go see Elijah today so he was going to be late and wanted to see Luella before she went home and had fallen asleep
Xavier held his sister's small hands and made his way inside the building "Hold my hand alright" Xavier told his sister knowing she would leave his side at one point and probably get lost
They've encountered that before.
"Millie!" Luella shouted waving at the lady who had found her when she last got lost. Millie smiled and made her way up to Luella and pulled her into a hug "Hey beautiful" she said kissing her cheek
"Hi" Luella replied smiling
"Is Adriel in his office?" Xavier asked Millie who replied with a nod "Yes, he should be. If not ask Anastasia she will know" she smiled brightly "Angel, I'll see you soon alright?" Millie said
