In the dead of night, Luella tossed and turned in her bed, ensnared by the grip of a vivid nightmare. Her small frame trembled as she battled unseen demons in the depths of her subconscious. Suddenly, a muffled cry escaped her lips, piercing the silence of the room.
Adriel was heading to his room while a headache was forming causing him to groan in frustration. He heard small noises coming from his sister's room.
He looked at her door and furrowed his brows, confused. He slowly opened the door and to see his little sister tossing and turning in bed
Adriel walked over and kneeled beside her bed "Luella" he whispered
Another whimper came out of her mouth
"Luella wake up" Adriel touched her arm causing her to flinch away
Adriel sighed and settled himself on Luella's bed pulling her closer to himself. He started rubbing her back and occasionally placed kisses on her head till she stopped moving and her face relaxed
Adriel knew that the little girl placed in his arms was probably dreaming about her mum
He sighed and closed his eyes to eliminate the headache that had formed

As the morning light seeped into my bedroom, I slowly opened my eyes, still drowsy from sleep. To my surprise, I found Adriel, peacefully asleep beside me "Adri?" I whispered
He didn't move so I poked his cheek "Wake up" I poked him again
He just turned around facing the wall squishing me in-between "I'm stuck Adriel!"
His eyes slowly opened and just looked at me "Luella sleep"
I shook my head "I need to pee" I said trying to shove him away but his muscles were too big
