"So how was you first day yesterday?" Nurse Taeyeon asked while munching her lunch. We're currently having lunch with Rosé and Chaeyoung at the room next to the station since nurses are always on call
"So far so good" I answered
"I heard from Doc Wendy that you handled Miss Bae quite well, you even went back to her room after your rounds just to clean up her mess"
"Oh that? Well she's stubborn, but I believe she'll come around"
"I was actually scared for your life, I thought you're going to resign on your first day" Chaeyoung added while putting her lunch boxes inside her bag since she's done eating lunch
"Said the girl who threw her under the bus, you were the one who suggested that she's going to accompany Doc Wendy yesterday" Rosé replied sarcastically
"Well, would you rather?"
"Well......... no"
"Well I can't blame you two" Nurse Taeyeon added
"Let's not talk about that" Rosé said "So Nurse Lisa, are you single?"
I was about to answer when we heard a beep sound from the computer in the front desk, indicating that a patient pressed the button for assistance "Looks like a patient needs us, good thing we're all finished with our lunch" Chaeyoung said while reading the name of the patient who pressed the button.
"Apparently the patient needs, Nurse Lisa?" Chaeyoung stated but it sounded like she's asking a question
"Who is it?" i asked
"Okay, this is new. She never pressed that button before" Nurse Taeyeon said while reading the name "Bae Joo-hyun"
"Well I guess I'll get going now" I replied
"Be careful" Chaeyoung said
I just laughed and nodded. I was walking at the hallway on my way to room 329 when I suddenly bumped at someone. I turned my head to see who it was
"Sorry about that, it's an emergency" she said and ran again
I was about to reply that it's okay but she's too far now, she's wearing a coat so I'm guessing that she's a doctor. But one thing I noticed is her feline eyes and also her chubby cheeks, a 'mandu' I thought. Now, I'm craving for some. I should treat myself a mandu later
I arrived at room 329 and noticed that her room is dark and a mess again. I started picking up the pillows on the floor and placed it on her beds.
"So, what can I do for you?" I asked nicely. She pointed somewhere and I followed it with my gaze
"Okay" I opened the curtains and a natural light entered the room
"Anything else?" she just shake her head and went back lying on her bed
I went back to the station and saw the three nurses looking at me. It looks like we're not busy
"So what happened" Chaeyoung asked like a kid waiting for her grandma to finish the story
"She just asked me to open the curtains"
"She spoke?" this time its Rosé who asked
"No, more like she pointed" I answered. I was about to seat when I heard the beep form from the computer
"Looks like Miss Bae needs you, again" Nurse Taeyeon stated
"I'll be back" I stood up and went to room 329 immediately. I entered the room and saw the pillows scattered at the floor again, I started cleaning it up and placed it on her bed
"Do you need anything else?" I asked. She pointed at the water bottle at the desk placed next to her bed
"Okayyyy" it's next to her but why did she need some help, she can even throw the pillow at the farthest part of the room. I wondered while opening the water bottle
"Here you go, anything else?" she just shook her head again and lied on her bed, well that was weird
I went back to the station seeing the three nurses looking at me again. Deja vu?
"So what did she need?" Rosé asked
"Water" I simply answered. They just shrugged and went back doing whatever they were doing. I was about to sit again when I heard the computer beep. I looked at Nurse Taeyeon and she mouthed "Bae Joo-hyun"
"I think she's giving you a hard time" Rosé stated
"Sorry Lis, we're just so scared of her" Chaeyoung replied
"No it's okay, I personally told her yesterday that I'll be the one to check her up, I should stand by my words"
"Well, good luck" Chaeyoung said
"For the third time, I'll be back" I said as I smiled and waved my hand to them
Welp. This is going to be a long day
